Great deal, great challenge, great pace of play
I always recommend Rawiga. I've played here 50+ times and have never been disappointed. The only complaint I have, and it's not a knock on the course is that their greens are difficult! Very hard to stick one on most of the greens because they all tend to slope down to the fringe. Still well worth it and gives me a challenge
Nice course, but needs yard markers!
I like the course a lot and it was in very good condition, but so many times I did not know how far I was from the green. The markers in the fairways are overgrown, hard to find and sometimes confusing. On one hole, for example, there was a white and a yellow disc that both had "75" written on them and neither was that distance (although the yellow one might have been 175 yards away!). I have told this to many personnel at courses with similar problems: All you need is three marker sticks on each hole, a blue one for 200 yards, a white one for 150 and a red for 100. They can be seen from a distance and golfers can calculate pretty well how far away they are from the green using them as a reference.
Challenging
Great layout. Iron shots are tuff to stay on greens. Tee boxes need improved. Overall a great track. I’d play it again
Mid summer in May
This course is always tough. The greens were mid summer fast and subtle undulations made for 2 and 3 putts likely..
The fairways were excellent, but the rough made finding the balls difficult if one didn’t immediately go to that spot.
Monsoon
When we arrived at 10;45am, it was raining. The cart rule was cart path only. The greens and fairways had puddles. I did not bring boots. We did not play. The course was too wet for play.
Dude, how can you rate a course 1 star when 1st you didn't play it. 2nd it's not the courses fault it rained and poured. Be fair to the review of the course.
Hi, we are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
Hi, thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We are working to get everything up to par. We have projects ongoing to recover the fairways and greens. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game, and we will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Rawiga Golf & Swim Club. We hope to see you again soon.
Monsoon
The conditions of the course was very wet. There were puddles all over the fairways and greens.. Obviously, the conditions resulted in the cart path only rule. The course should have been closed. I should not be charged for this
round of golf.

Old course needs facelift
Rawiga is an older course. I thought they did a good job on fairways and greens. Rough was spotty and there were many wet spots with the rain we just had. I heard many courses closed that day due to the rain. I’d like to see the course in better condition before I make my call. Lots of areas were very wet with carts on them.
Fast Greens
This was my first trip to this course. It’s really nice, the staff was friendly. The only drawback, which is minor, are the greens are super fast. I will definitely be back!
Overall good!
First time playing here. It was a little wet and muddy in some areas. The layout was good and you must keep the ball in the fairway. The greens rolled true but not receptive, even with all the rain. The tee boxes need a lot of work. Overall the course provided a challenge with the course being wet and with steady stiff winds.
great time perfect greens
Course was in fantastic shape greens were near perfect course is great shape!
Excellent Course
Very nice layout. Challenging but fair. Greens roll true and good pace.
Great Layout
Course has a great layout, very good price for the course on GolfNow, country club type course for cheap. Great are very tough, narrow fairways. Greens need to be watered more.
OK,, Paulagro, if you want to buy me one, I;m in. Anyway, using them slows down play and can be annoying. One guy I play with uses his regardless of where he is on the hole. He could be ten yards from the green and he still pulls it out!
Dude, buy a rangefinder. Shouldn't be without one anyways. Yardage markers are going by the wayside, plus you'll get yardage right to the pin.
