Best condition I've seen here
This is a course I really enjoy, and it was in the best condition I've ever seen it. The bunkers were newly edged and with fresh sand. The course is not tremendously long, so an average golfer has a decent opportunity to get some pars and maybe a birdie along the way. It's a pretty course. Pace of play was a bit slow yesterday, but not atypical for a weekend.

Perfect Day
The weather and conditions were great. Though I hope the greens were still just recovering from punching & sanding. Most putts weren't breaking and greens weren't holding longer shots.
I found it odd that balls could land well short of the green and continue to find their way on to the putting surface, yet when one launched a high shot into the green the surface was far less receptive. I think this is set up intentionally due the large amount of senior play they get.
Course was very crowded for a Tuesday morning, but I guess it must have been behind us as we played as a 4-some in 4 hours even. The course was in great shape, pace of play was good. I always enjoy coming here, just odd about the greens this time.

Fox Den.....wow
If you haven't played Fox Den for a year+, you are in for a treat. The course is outstanding. Greens and fairways are very enjoyable to play. The course is very well maintained with dead growth removed and thinned out trees make for a very enjoyable round. Obviously play will be a bit slow due to popularity so pick an early time if possible. The course is constantly upgrading amenities for the players. However Covid restrictions hamper use of the new amenities. Give it a try....you will enjoy. PS...try the motorcycle golf cart.
Better courses for the same price.
Save your money and go elsewhere. Very crowded but not sure why. Course layout was terrible on the front 9. After reading reviews I thought I was in for a treat but instead got tricked. If this was and improved course due to new management I’d hate to see how it was before. Much nicer courses in the surrounding area.

Best I’ve seen it in a while
What a great round at Fox Den today! I’m amazed at what great condition the greens were in this late in the year - FAST and true! Grounds staff has clearly put time in after last week’s storms and boy did the course show that. Absolute gem of a round in mid-November.

Great course
This course has improved so much. We play it often. The new superintendent has made a lot of changes! Hole 14 is a great change from what it was before with the water there all the time! The way they cleaned up the course is great! Keep up the changes and.I will be back often! The only downside was a very grumpy person checking us in. It was early morning so that may have been the problem! Otherwise the course has been great!!! Keep up the changes!

Beautiful Day
The course was in great shape especially for late October in Ohio. Fairways and greens were in beautiful shape and devoid of leaves which seems almost impossible this time of the year. Staff was very friendly and let us off a bit early to get in front of a foursome which I appreciate. This is a great course that is well worth your time.

Too pricy
As times are difficult money is a problem for many. This is a nice course but extremely pricy. They are in the range of a top few for highest cost and they are public owned course( City of Stow). You would think they could keep the price a little more in line with mainstream. Especially being a very busy year this year.
