Fox Den Golf Course

it was very unpleasant playing this course. Booked a tee time several days in advance and showed up early to the first tee and 20 minutes past that our time, there were still 3 groups waiting to tee off, some of which were walk-ons. The starter was not around and eventually showed up and moved us to the back 9. During the middle of play the started showed up to yell at us to move faster when there eere clearly people still in our fairway and backed up several holes i front of us. We had already started late and wedged between two groups. The price was not the best, there a similar courses within a few miles that are cheaper. After talking to a few nore people Ibwas informed they had similar issues with scheduling. The staff was of no help. I will not be playing there again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Have played Fox D many times. Nice layout and requires you to able to work the ball left/right. Not all bomb it. Have to think about shots and best angles to approach greens.

Fox creek has been in great condition this year. As always, a challenging course with different obstacles to overcome on each hole. Great time playing!

The course is always in tip top shape but the staff here is so rude and arrogant. Also tee times are booked close together so you’re always waiting to tee off.

Have seen a bunch of people complain about the price for this course so I waited for a hot deal to pop up for 18. Thought the course was in pretty good shape and gave a good challenge. Greens were great but putting was pretty easy. I definitely recommend giving the course a go... especially when you have a $10 off coupon from golf now and get to play 18 for $6

I have to agree with a review I read about the price being too much . Weekend golf at 49 dollars for a municipal course is too much . I think really that is too much for any course and contribute the closing of many courses because golf is becoming too expensive for people to stay involved in the sport . Fortunately I have Tee Pass book with discounts that is the only reason I can play as often as I do .

Course is in great shape this years small areas with drainage problems have been fixed and greens are firm and fast

Had always thought Fox den represented a good value for the money that was the case at least until this year when Greens fees are sky high, now at $39 after 2 on weekends and holidays. There are certainly better courses out there for that kind of money. Condition were uneven, rough is super long and nobody fixes ball marks here. Regardless, pace of play was a factor as it took our 3some 2:45 to play nine. In front of us was what appeared to be 2 foursomes playing together and slowly. Behind us two high school or college kids asking us to play through, driving around in their cart during our t shots and hitting up on us. At one point words were exchanged. They skipped us and when we made the turn the starter had put them in front of us. Now we had a big back up at 10, 11, etc. Not wanting to spend 6 hours playing we bailed and asked for a rain check to which we were angrily directed to “read the sign, NO RAIN CHECKS”. That’s not how you treat loyal customers playing by the rules. Other patrons who heard our exchange with the attendant were sympathetic. We will be playing elsewhere.

Great course and great value. Rate of play was a little slow but the course was busy because everyone is coming out of quarantine. Course was a little rough but the weather has been bad the last few weeks. Also if you’re using a GPS distance watch be careful because the hole layout must have changed.

Stow resident here for $49 go to Brookledge and enjoy a much nicer course and friendlier staff.

Not the hardest course, is a varying layout though with a lot of good holes. Is a reliable experience, and conditions were good for just opening and while still mostly cold in Ohio.
