Fox Den Golf Course

I have played this course before and was very eager to play it again. I went to course website to book a tee time for 7/3, and was redirected to GolfNow to book. When I was on GolfNow there was a Hot Deal and assumed it was for 7/3, but on the day of the tee time I thought I had, GolfNow was defaulted to the current day. I paid $81 for a twosome, but wasted my money on the tee time due to GolfNow defaulting to the the current day. Would love it if could get a rain check from the course cause the course is fantastic.

Used to love this course but it seems like they are just absolutely cramming as many people onto the course as they can to make more money since building the driving range. Two times Ive gone now on a weekend and both times we’re just overcrowded. First time I gave up and left after the 14th hole as we had been there for 5 hours. This last time it only took 4 1/2 hours to get through but course was still over booked and the staff were yelling at the group of guys I got paired with as they believed we were the ones holding up the course when there was no one behind us. They then demanded I give up my cart because I was a single player and they had ran out of carts due to their over booking when nothing was said the the guys on the next hole over from us where 3 of them were riding as singles. They were again jerks to the guys I was paired with as another worker drove up and told them that if they aren’t good golfers they just need to start scrambling. Mind you, we are on the 15th green and no one even on the tee box behind us. Just sad that they are doing this to such a nice course and these workers need to check themselves.

First time playing Fox Den. Finally decided to make the drive from the west side. With the exception of a few holes (#1, #10, #18), was impressed with the variety of holes. Toughest set of par 3’s I can recall. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Rough could be penal. $60 green fees for Memorial Day AM tee time was a great price (actually walked for $46). Will be back!

I played as the rain ended and had the course to myself. Despite the morning rain the course was in great shape.
