Coyote Run Golf Course (formerly known as Rushcreek Golf Course) is a public, nine-hole course located in Thornville, less than an hour from downtown Columbus. The course is not one of the central Ohio area's well known options, but it offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The layout features bentgrass greens and Bermuda grass fairways. Opened in 1974, the landscape has had time to mature providing enhanced scenery and conditions. The golf course is easy to walk, which makes it great for seniors. The layout is player friendly and ideal for beginners but more advanced players can get in some good practice, especially for the price. Golfers looking for a formidable test will want to look elsewhere, but for a quick and affordable round, Coyote Run Golf Course is a good option.

Very nice 9 hole course in a rural farmland setting. Every time I play here I ask myself " Why don't you come here more often?"
This course is usually decent
What is normally a cheap quick course to play was allowing players before my tee time to show up an hour or more late. The group in front of us who showed up late not only were allowed to play but also kept my group from being able to receive carts until I just went and got them from the front when they showed up. We also were told we needed to give an extra 10 dollar when we got there because we booked over 2 hot deal times 10 minutes from each other. Names and times were mixed up and staff had no idea what they were doing. Other than that a decent course though.
Fun!
Look, if you consider yourself a great golfer who loves a challenge, this place isn’t for you. If you are anyone else, and your primary goal is to have fun playing golf with friends, this place is perfect. Just a fun place to play golf run by the nicest people.
Quiet country course
Nice little 9 hole country course. Been here about 8 times now. Everyone is nice and pace is not rushed. Good selection of beverages, adult and soft. Course is nice. No real bunkers but find a course in this price range with any.
Great course to get a round of golf in. No pressure. We had a fun relaxing round. Will definitely go back
The fairway conditions are not the best, but the greens were probably the best maintained greens I have seen in a long time. The were watered and green! If you want to play a course and want perfect conditions this may not be the course, but if you want to just get out and hit em, this is the course. I will go back again when I am in the area, it is well worth it.
Doesn’t honor tee times. Poor pace of play
Our tee time was at 11 and we didn’t tee off until almost 11:50. Was scolded by the owner after telling him we made a tee time through golfnow and told that maybe if I called I would get on the course sooner next time.

I apologize for the inconvenience that day and the disruptions that it caused. That day golfers and tee times were behind schedule. Please next time call in advance and let us know what you were doing with the tee times. As our employees had no idea you had five players with you and the other single HD was joining your group. The course had two carts reserved and was putting the single HD with the prior tee time. That’s why carts were not available at that time. Thank you for addressing your concerns. Next time we will handle the situation better.
