About
Gleneagles Golf Club, which is owned by the city of Twinsburg, is ranked as one of the area's top 15 most challenging courses, though, it is more player friendly than it seems. Beginners won't feel too out of place but accuracy is needed on this course with water coming into play on 11 holes and more than 20 strategically placed bunkers. The water hazards are particularly tricky. The fairways are lush and manicured and the well maintained greens putt fast and true. There are also some significant elevation changes throughout the golf course. A smattering of trees dots the landscape but most of the holes are wide open. It is a good challenge without being too intimidating. In addition to the course, Gleneagles Golf Club offers a driving range and putting green for golfers to warm up before their tee time.

Top public course
Wonderful layout, friendly staff, professional team, and great overall conditions.
Fall Golf Extraordinaire
We have played Gleneagles several times. I love playing here. The course is always in excellent condition. Fairways are kept low and the rough can be challenging. We have played in the past 2 weeks twice, no waiting, just straight play thru 18. I must mention that they take care of leaf removal in the fall so all fairways and green are immaculate! Bravo! I would highly recommend playing here!!
Poor Course Managment
The rangers and pro shop staff were extremely rude and unapologetic. It took less than two hours to play the front nine and over 3 hours for the back nine. The staff did nothing to help with the pace of play.
Worth it
Beautiful, challenging course in good condition. Keep it in the fairway because the rough was tall. The greens were soft, smooth, and true, but a bit slow for my preference. Very friendly staff too.
March Golf
Considering this round was mid March after a harsh winter, course was in great shape. Testament to great work that grounds crew put in year round. 18th hole has some issues from what looks like adjacent lake overflowing from possible ice jam block up. Considering how much care they put into course, I'm sure that issue will be resolved by end of spring. So enjoyable to have had Gleneagle as first course played for the year. Can't wait to get back at least several more times over the season. Great value for course you get.
