Everyone was friendly and courteous the course is a beautiful one
It would have been nice to know...
that the greens had been aerated before we booked a tee-time there.
The pace of play was good, because nobody was there.
Why the people in the clubhouse were moody and not at all receptive to customers, I cannot explain. I think it's just typical of government workers.
Steak prices for hot dog quality.
60 bucks on the weekend for a course that cannot handle water. 18 bucks for a large bucket of golf balls, mats only. No one at the bar before hand. Go elsewhere.
Nice course
Played yesterday got paired up with another person had a good time. Course was in nice shape and a fun layout. I had read before playing here about pace of play and they were not lying incredibly slow. We were behind a group for seven holes and finally past them after skipping a hole they never offered to let us pass and looked for balls for 15 minutes a hole in the bushes and the ponds crazy. I mentioned this to a lady in the clubhouse and her reaction took me back. I asked if she could say something and she said what would I need to say. I told her about the backup and that we skipped a hole and she asked do I want to play that hole later ugh. So keep in mind if regulars are playing they will do nothing to speed them along. Good luck to this course won’t be back terrible way to handle paying customers. FYI I did not yell or anything I asked nicely. I told my group what she said and they said they wouldn’t come back terrible customer service oh well lots of other options.
Great shape
Course has been very well maintained during the drought.
Pace of play was awful.
Tee’d off on hole #1 at 12:14, did not get to the 10th hole until 2:50. Hole 10 was stacked with multiple groups. Multiple singles left early due to the pace of play. No ranger was riding around enforcing anything. Course was in an okay condition considering how it’s been in the past.
