Fun, Moderate Challenge
The course is well laid out and has some interest. I played with a gentleman who has been playing for course for many years. He indicated that it is under new ownership. Course conditions were exactly what I'd expect for $15 and this early in the season. The greens were actually much above average. The greens have enough movement to keep you coming back. The course does have one bunker, it's a bit weed/grass overrun, and I managed to find it. Certainly interesting enough to play multiple times without getting bored.
nice to walk
I don't usually walk courses as they tend to be hilly. This is a very flat course and a chance to walk.
Quick and Easy
Great place to learn the game. Lots of room to miss. Mostly flat, so it's good for senior walkers. Greens are very good. Making substantial improvements that will increase difficulty and challenge.
It is what it is, don't expect more and you'll enjoy it.
This is a practice course and nothing more. No traps, no water (except on the very outside of the course) and very few trees or other kinds of trouble.
My friends and I go here instead of the range to hit some balls. There are some decent length par 4's and par 5's where you can at least hit your driver.
As summer goes on ground gets harder and harder to the point where you can't even get a divot, but this time of year (early may) it's not bad.
Crab grass all around, mowed very short so you are basically ALWAYS hitting off a fairway somewhere.
Greens are basically impossible to hold if you hit it on a fly, so plan on hitting 10 yards in front and bouncing the ball on.
Like I said, it's a practice course. If you go here expecting Augusta you'll be disappointing. Usually 10 bucks after or around 5pm, so it's a cheap quick 9 holes if you want to go instead of the range.
