About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Nice eveing!
Good value, great staff, nice course and well laid out. We had fun playing 9 holes, took 2 hours 15 minutes
Bait and Switch
I made a reservation via the website and it appeared that the course was wide open and there were plenty of open tee-times. When we arrived they had leagues going off both sides and it was apparent we would not get the 18 in we paid for. Most courses block out league play so this does not happen. This was a horrible experience for our group and the groups behind us who were also duped into paying for 18 and not getting it! It is wrong to mislead.

Great value
Conditions were better last time but Mother Nature can be hard on courses this time of year.
If I lived closer I would play it more.

Terrible
The course condition was terrible. There was a water main break that started early in the morning and was still happening in mid-afternoon. The sand traps were absolutely terrible they were unplayable. The greens were brown. For 54.00 dollars I could go play two rounds somewhere else. I would really like to know where the 54.00 goes. The club house was an RV. Just a terrible place to place golf it is really a shame this used to be such a nice course.

Changes coming??
First I want to preface this by saying I love the course overall but something needs to be changed. This course should be one of the best courses in the area but there seems to be a lack of care for the course as a whole. Damage to a decent amount of fairways, no sand in 95% of bunkers, and still no working clubhouse in July. Would be nice to know if these things are going to be getting fixed in the coming months or will we be waiting another year? The fairways are a new issue as is the clubhouse but for at least 2 years now most of the bunkers are literally barren of sand. If they can fix the on course issues this would be one of the best in the area no doubt. I really hope the changes are coming soon.

Bunkers hard, Clubhouse boarded up!
Greens are still quicker then most places, but the bunkers are untouched hard as a rock, not enough water on course. For the price they need to make changes and take better care of the course bunkers...install more water on course, since they have no one riding a drink cart around!

Caution! Course under repair!
Worst shape I’ve ever seen this course. I am ashamed to take a friend to this course for his first time out in the tri-state area. This is completely unacceptable if you’re advertising normal conditions and the whole course hasn’t been maintained in a month. The hole cuts haven’t been moved in a week at least, and the grass hasn’t been cut in two weeks.
Absolutely atrocious course conditions. I won’t be back until I hear some poor sap has the balls to try it out.

Going down hill
What one used to be a top notch course is turning into a hanger on. From the poor condition of the parking lot through crab grass in the fairways and hard pan bunkers. A great set out just very poorly maintained

Disappointing Round at Becket Ridge
This course had always been a good challenging design in the past, but it is now in such poor condition that the design cannot overcome this.
And all the supporting services are either temporary or in poor working condition.
Pace of play was awful too.
A real shame because this used to be a fun challenge.

A Good Time
Beckett Ridge is a great local course to people who live in West Chester. It provides a full experience of golf with a reasonable cost. GolfNow aids the cost to play as well and usually have deals available. The course is in good shape, a few holes where it can be a little tough to distinguish the fairway from the rough, and other holes where it looks like it was taken off of the PGA tour. Plenty of challenges on the course, and set in a suburban area makes for a fun round and plenty of places to go afterwards.

Course Great, Management lacking
Booked through Golf Now, with a Hot Deal@ $19.00.
I Drove 50 minutes to the course. Walked up to "Trailer" parked in front of building. Discovered building under construction. Asked for rest room, told they have an out house around back.
Then proceeded to check in. When he checked reservation, he informed me they are having a problem with Golf Now, and will not be honoring the 'Paid in Advance' reservation. The staff member then indicated I should try to contact Golf Now for a refund. He then said he could allow me to keep my tee time but now I owe the course an additional $40.00.
After driving almost an hour, and adjusting work schedule, I paid the Fee. I told the course representative I'm disappointed in the way they conduct business. . All the guy could say was "sorry, I'm just doing what I was told by management".
The kicker is the building was 'under repair' and this entire fiasco occurred from a Trailer parked out front.
I would have expected them to be happy people were still coming to this Golf Facility, honor any prepaid fees, and remove their course from the Golfnow website.
*Instead they just put some poor schlep employee out there to inform the golfers of their same day decision to be inconsiderate and lacking in class.

great layout - poor condition
Traps are full of rocks and clay.
Owner has removed traps located in key positions around the course -- poor choice.
Cups appear to have not been cut for a week - hairy and beat up.
No clubhouse negligence lead to frozen water pipes and water damage.
No driving range.
This used to be a course in good condition but every year is worse.

No Complaints
Golfed Saturday morning Memorial Day weekend, owner and staff were very friendly doing the best they can with their clubhouse decommissioned at the moment. Course is in really good shape, nice carts with USB ports. Some holes aren’t pretty tough due to the hills and dog legs. Can’t wait to come play when the clubhouse is up.

Favorite course in the area!
Love to play at Beckett Ridge as often as possible! Beautiful, challenging and diverse course takes you through some great views of Union Center and Cincinnati. Course was very well kept including nice gas carts with coolers and USB ports!
