Beckett Ridge Golf Club

Tried Beckett Ridge again after playing about 10 days ago in the hope that pace of play would be better. Took 36 minutes to finish first two holes and then I found myself waiting on 3rd tee for what would have been at least 5 more minutes to tee off and people behind me about to pile up. Felt like I was looking at a 5+ hours round at that point - if I got lucky. So I turned aroundd and went back to clubhouse, unloaded and left. Nice course - have played there many times. But recently, too crowded with slow players. Will probably not play there again.

Left after 9 holes when I saw a group on 10 tee with two groups waiting to tee off.

This was my 2nd time playing here in the past month. I don't remember there being so many unrepaired ball marks the first time. Maybe the pin placement needs changed more often? And players just need to clean up their ball marks in general.

I had the misfortune of getting in 4 to 5 sand traps this second time playing. They were very shallow sand, with clay underneath. They could use more sand.

Scorching hot 4th of July and course was quiet so we moved along nicely. Enjoyed the course, back 9 more so.

Two of us played this course and didn't see another golfer for 18 holes. Terrific day! Beautiful morning. Lot of ups and downs and several blind shots, but that made this course fun. Definitely great value for the money.

$50 w cart of GolfNow was a great deal. Enjoyed the layout, the back 9 I felt was significantly nicer/more challenging. The cart paths and grass along the tee blocks of the front 9 could use some attention. Paths eroded and lots of dead patches. But we enjoyed our round and would return. Not having a cart out on 100 degree day was surprising as could have used some hydration Marshall was very personal.

Fun and well taken care of. Pace of play is good and the staff is friendly.

Course was in excellent condition. Starter gave helpful tips for a 1st time playing the course. Greens sloped back to front and staying below the hole is definitely a key to scoring. Pace of play was awesome (finished 18 under 4 hours). Will play again when in the area.

Fairways and greens in Great condition. Very interesting layout, with some wide fairways and others not so much. Some blind shots off tee, so course knowledge is a plus. Cart GPS appreciated. Paid only $36, so a real bargain to play this premium course. Pace of play was mostly good, with only a couple of delays on back nine.

We got a $36 rate, and what a great value. Course in Great condition. Pace was very good.

Overall the conditions of the course are fantastic. Had a buddy with me and it was his first time playing this course and he absolutely loved it. If I could make one tiny suggestion: maybe clear all of the extra grass clippings from the rough to make finding your ball a little less challenging for those of us who don’t always make the fairways 🤪.

Interesting layout. Holes 2 and 3 are a little gimmicky, rest is good. Pretty forgiving off the tee. Greens are in pretty bad shape - people don’t repair pitch marks and significant ant problems (dirt piles from) on most greens. Not worth full price with so many better options cheaper in the area. Worth playing for $50, not $75.
