Beckett Ridge Golf Club

About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Go 55
Cart only rule not welcome sinceist a wide fairway and and wide rough area despite hard surfaces.
Highly Recommended
I’m a big fan of Beckett Ridge Golf Course and the staff. The course is always in great shape, challenging, and in my opinion, priced right. Additionally, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. I’ve been shooting here a few time per week this season with no signs of slowing down.
Beautiful Course, but…
My dear lord the pace of play… rough is ridiculously deep, hit fairways
A Constantly Evolving Course in Excellent Condition
I recently had the pleasure of playing at Beckett Ridge Golf Club again, and once again, I was very impressed. The condition of the course is exceptional. The fairways were immaculate, the greens fast and well-maintained, and the bunkers perfectly raked. You can tell the maintenance team puts in a lot of effort and dedication to keep the course in optimal condition for a great day of golf. I’m
In addition to the excellent condition of the course, I find the price to be very reasonable for the quality of the experience Beckett Ridge offers. You feel like you get great value for your money, especially considering the level of course care and the facilities.
But what truly makes me appreciate each visit to Beckett Ridge is that I always find some improvement or new feature that enhances the experience. Whether it's a renovation in the clubhouse, improvements to the cart paths, or even small details on the course that make the game more enjoyable, there's always something new that demonstrates the club's commitment to continuous improvement and the satisfaction of its players.
In summary, Beckett Ridge Golf Club remains one of my favorite courses to play regularly. Its excellent condition, fair price, and that pleasant surprise of always finding something new make each round a positive and memorable experience. I highly recommend it to golfers of all skill levels!
Overall good
It was my first time. Unfortunately it was really windy. I feel like the course was challenging enough, but with the wind it was extremely tough. I’d love to play again when weather is better.
Average
I played Beckett over the past 5 years and it was always somewhat challenging. Some players have a difficult time which slows down play.
Pros: Nice new cart path, carts and clubhouse.
Cons: Geese droppings-hole 15 gee wiz and others. But 15 was awful around the green.. Tired of the cart notice because we were off track and running behind. Turn the thing off.
In great shape
In great shape as it has been lately. Last summer was the best I’ve seen it. Fun course and now it’s in great condition. Club house they built is nothing fancy. Least the money went into the course. Hope it stays this way
Great value for the winter season
Beckett Ridge Country Club offers a well-maintained course with a fun and friendly layout that caters to golfers of all skill levels. The fairways and greens are in great shape, making for an enjoyable round of golf. The design provides a good mix of challenge and playability, ensuring that both casual and experienced golfers can have a great time.
That said, there are a few areas for improvement. During the winter season, the tee markers are missing, which can make it slightly confusing when setting up for each hole. Additionally, the carts had some technical issues—despite adhering to the cart path-only rule, they would occasionally stall, indicating that we were off the path when we weren’t. This led to some frustrating moments. Another downside is the lack of a driving range, which limits warm-up options before a round.
The pace of play was average, with our round taking about four hours to complete, which is fairly standard. While there are a few minor inconveniences, the overall experience at Beckett Ridge is positive, thanks to the quality of the course and its inviting layout. If you’re looking for a solid round of golf in the area, it’s worth a visit—just be prepared for a few quirks along the way.
Enjoyable Round
Always wanted to play this course and finally got the chance. Definitely found the course in good condition for off season golf, the layout is good with some good views and greens were challenging. Will play again. However, I hope the staff will adjust the cart GPS restriction mapping as both carts in our group had multiple warnings to return to the cart path causing a slow down to a crawl when we were on the cart path.
Fantastic Course
First time playing Beckett Ridge Golf Course. I absolutely loved the course layout. Moderately difficult in my opinion. The course was well maintained. Despite it raining pretty good for a couple of days prior to playing the course drained pretty good. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. A++++ customer service. Chuck, Olivia, and Tony were an absolute pleasure to deal with it. I will definitely return to play another round at Beckett Ridge in the future.
Stop watering
The course should not be soaking wet and be cart path only Sunday afternoon the third week of November. No it did not rain the night before. Otherwise it's a decent course. They've really put a lot of work in to in the past couple of years. Nice carts too.
Mygolf24
Course greens and fairways in very good conditions. Quick pace of play.
Beautiful Course
Keeping in mind I played Beckett Ridge for the first time and it was in November after a drought, this course is beautiful and the layout challenging but gettable.
My lone complaint would be pin placement on a couple greens. These would have been challenging for a professional. My wife - in her second year of golfing - couldn't finish a couple of holes. For example, hole 10. I caught my iron a bit thin and was just off the back left. I hit a little flopper on the fringe and it rolled across and off the entirety of the green (pin front right). Impossible to keep on the dance floor without holing it. Chipped up to pin high and it rolled back at me and 20 feet off the front of the green. I then chipped past the hole and it rolled back and barely stayed up, but lipped the putt and it rolled off the green. I'm not sure a birdie or par was possible on 10 that day.
With that said, we agree that we can't wait to play the course again and have another great course in our rotation. If you haven't played here, add it to your wish list. We (again it was November) teed off at 11:40AM on Saturday and allowed a solo to play through. We didn't encounter any other golfers and played at a slower pace than normal.
Everything Is Nice!!!
