Great course for the value
Great course to play for the money. Greens were fast and held up good for the dry August.
Very fun course.
The course layout was great. The condition wasn't but its expected with the weather we've been having. The people and staff were very friendly. The lady took time out of an even to get us signed in and set to play out round.
Overbooked by at least 50%
Played a 4 1/2 hr round. Waited to tee off for minimum of 5 minutes at every hole, including par 5s. On 15's tee box, we were close to 18's green and watched the foursome on the green chair chat with each other for no less than 8 minutes before finishing their putts. There was no one encouraging a quicker pace of play, and I believe they let at least 50% more people tee off than they should have. I don't see myself going back anytime soon.
Good course. Slow play for 730 on Saturday morning
Pretty nice place. Short with just enough water to keep you on your toes. Unfortunately the foursome in front of us were painfully slow... we waited a minimum of four minutes on every hole.
Not worth the drive
We found a discount on GolfNow so we drove an hour to play a course we've never played. They were hosting an event that day but it had just ended when we got there. No issues.
The clubhouse was more than dated. The cavernous journey to the dungeon-like restrooms was adventurous. It was filthy. The toilet and a couple showers were perpetually running.
The course featured a broad variety of grass everywhere. We lost many balls IN THE FAIRWAY because the crabgrass was so tall. On a sunday afternoon, a day they were hosting an outing, the greens were like asphalt, the fairways were thick, and the tee boxes had ankle deep grass in many places.
There are too many better places to play in central Ohio to go back. I will go to my grave having played that course only once.
enjoyable
was visiting this area and decided to play. enjoyed round course in good condition would play again
Very Accomodating
By mistake, I scheduled a tee time without understanding that there might be frost preventing me from teeing off. I declined tee time protection because I’ve never had an issue before. Well, I show up for my tee time (9:37) and was told to wait until 10:30 for the frost. This was okay, I could still get my round in, in that timeframe. 10am and was told to wait until 11am. My play partner and I weren’t going to be able to finish the round in time so we decided to just go home.
Knowing I was probably out $60, I made a call to the clubhouse after my partner and I left. In a last ditch effort I asked if I could be granted a rain check. The manager (Mick) explained that I should be more aware of the conditions of the course before scheduling and I should call in to schedule from now on. After explaining, he explained I was okay to get a rain check; even though I was in the wrong. Thanks mick..
Course was in good shape considering being in a drought past couple of months....greens rolled true and fast, tee boxes where in good condition...Mick and staff do a tremendous job....
