Zanesville Jaycee's Public Golf Course

I had my doubts but found the course to be well maintained and a nice picturesque course way out in the country feel. If you can hit straight, a good course for you. Golf carts were in good shape.

I wish that older courses would consider upgrading their restrooms. It was in the dungeon of the “clubhouse” that was probably a modular home from the 80s.

Cool day and course had just been aerated, but round was still enjoyable. Friendly pro. Course was well maintained and moderately challenging. Yardages well marked and directional flags on two shots where you could not see the green. Greens where slightly small but putted very true. Excellent value.

Arrived for our 8 am tee time but there was a frost delay. This was not a problem as it was kind of expected with the cold weather that came in. The carts were completely soaked and just out in the elements, and it took me trying about 3 different carts before one actually ran. The course was in absolute terrible conditions. There was hardly a difference between the rough, fairways, and greens. Definitely isn't different grass or built well, just mowed at different lengths. The staff was incredibly condescending and rude. Spend your money elsewhere if you can. There are better dog tracks in the area with better rates.

The club house looks like if someone sneezed inside the whole thing would collapse. The icing on the cake was the terrible conditions of the course. there were times when it was hard to even tell the difference between the fairway and the green. Stay away and spend your time/money elsewhere.

　I think that the course is difficult because there are quite some differences in elevation.

Great deal for the money, course was not in great shape but it’s also early in the season. Staff was the friendliest I have dealt with at any course. I will definitely go back a little later in the year and play another round.

As most courses tend to play a little rough in the fall, the course was still in great shape and they have managed the falling leaves very well. It has been less than half the price of the other local courses with the deals and even their normal price is a great deal. Well worth the trip!

Some fairways were sparse in grass, but greens were in excellent shape- fast and true.
Hole #9 is a nice one, a 5 par with two lakes to navigate, then a contoured, elevated green to shoot for.
On this day, play was light, and I finished in slightly over 2 hours. This is a typical public course, designed for quick play, with little fanfare.

nice course...not real long but tricky fast greens. Course is in great shape with the exception of the bunkers. which are in need of sand and attention. Low of no bunker maintenance seems to be more common these days no matter where i play.

The tree lined fairways require many punch out shots for stray tee shots that once were not a factor. The fairway watering system is a huge plus now and the greens, once hard and unlikely to hold shots, are in very good condition. This course, with the current staff, can be very proud of their work and accomplishments. A nice public course all people will enjoy playing. More difficult than it once was because it is now softer and tighter, making it play longer and more narrow than previously. To score you must keep it on the short grass, rough is cut to a challenging but respectable length.

I liked the natural beauty of the course...the mature trees, flowers around the course, water hazards, fairways...were all beautiful. The greens were very difficult to play--all of them were sloped in numerous directions making getting a read nearly impossible. The holes were forgiving in that a bad first shot left you with room for a recovery shot. All in all it was a good course, just above my level of ability.

Good mix of hole length and elevation change. Greens are not overly challenging and most of the fairways are straight ahead. Very good value for your money though and very rarely crowded.
