Zanesville Jaycee's Public Golf Course

Enjoyed course layout and excellent course conditions for august. We played a round before an outing started. No complaints.

This is a very nice corse the staff are super friendly and helpful. The corse was in great shape for having 2 inches of rain the night before. It drained quick. The price was worth playing this course for sure.

Jaycee is a great course for the budget golfer. Great deal through the app and for the money, it’s a great course. Mainly straight away par 4s, some interesting par 3s, and a couple par 5s sprinkled in. Challenging for the beginner, probably not for the experienced golfer. Overall a great course. Only negative would be the facilities, they need some work.

I had my doubts but found the course to be well maintained and a nice picturesque course way out in the country feel. If you can hit straight, a good course for you. Golf carts were in good shape.

I wish that older courses would consider upgrading their restrooms. It was in the dungeon of the “clubhouse” that was probably a modular home from the 80s.

Cool day and course had just been aerated, but round was still enjoyable. Friendly pro. Course was well maintained and moderately challenging. Yardages well marked and directional flags on two shots where you could not see the green. Greens where slightly small but putted very true. Excellent value.

Arrived for our 8 am tee time but there was a frost delay. This was not a problem as it was kind of expected with the cold weather that came in. The carts were completely soaked and just out in the elements, and it took me trying about 3 different carts before one actually ran. The course was in absolute terrible conditions. There was hardly a difference between the rough, fairways, and greens. Definitely isn't different grass or built well, just mowed at different lengths. The staff was incredibly condescending and rude. Spend your money elsewhere if you can. There are better dog tracks in the area with better rates.

On top of that all the carts were just out in the open and completely soaked, and it took me trying 3 different carts until I found one that ran. The club house looks like if someone sneezed inside the whole thing would collapse. The icing on the cake was the terrible conditions of the course. there were times when it was hard to even tell the difference between the fairway and the green. Stay away and spend your time/money elsewhere.

　I think that the course is difficult because there are quite some differences in elevation.

Great deal for the money, course was not in great shape but it’s also early in the season. Staff was the friendliest I have dealt with at any course. I will definitely go back a little later in the year and play another round.

As most courses tend to play a little rough in the fall, the course was still in great shape and they have managed the falling leaves very well. It has been less than half the price of the other local courses with the deals and even their normal price is a great deal. Well worth the trip!
