Sunset Ridge Golf Club

Fool me 10 or 12 times… shame on me. I guess it’s my fault for always going back and giving them another chance, but it’s just not worth it anymore. We won’t be back. This place just keeps getting worse. Worst course conditions in the Syracuse area. Tees are unplayable, fairways long and uncut, greens in bad shape and uncut. Pins were dumb and beat up, you can tell they havnt been changed in days. Busy weekend day and no bar or food open. Like 8 years ago this place was great but it’s got progressive worse every year. The good reviews of this place must be fake to boost their numbers. I can’t imagine anyone rating this place good. It’s a real shame because it’s a cool and fun layout but now it’s a dump.

Hard to find way around the course…more signs! If they cleaned up sone of the weeds and brush that hide some potentially great holes the course would be above average. Enjoyed the course and the round!

Course is long and the greens are hard to hit and putt. Good challenge. Course was in great shape but the ladies tees are terrible. Need work.

I keep coming back. There are so many challenging holes tee to green. The greens themselves were surprisingly quick, 11ish? Then the rolling elevation changes on the green will have you head scratching.

But if you like golf, that is what makes it fun.

Make sure you bring your own sanitizer…. No soap or towels in the bathrooms and it doesn’t look like they have been cleaned in years. Very gross. Would never eat here based on the bathrooms. Golf was terribly slow and overbooked. Course was not in good condition. Used to be a great place but has gone down hill big time. I’ll give it another shot but hope they can get their act together.

My first time playing at this course and I was less then impressed. No sandwiches or food available at the snack bar. They have 4 minutes tee time gaps, so I waited 5-10 minutes on every single tee box. Course was mediocre greens were rough on unpredictable. I will say the staff were great. The young lady at the snack bar was a new employee so that explains the lack of snacks.

This place has so much potential, its just run so poorly... Conditions are worse every year. Was a busy day and no bar or restaurant open... This side of town really needs a decent course that they know how to keep up. Course is maintained like a cow pasture and has the clientele that you would expect from a place like this.... slow round and bad shape. This place used to be great, its just gone downhill every year.

Overbooked, no starter, our time slot had two groups booked for the same exact time, on top of 8 minute tee times and rude staff made this experience underwhelming at best.
