Good value for the money
A fee greens and fairways had a fungus or something and were dead. But for the price a good deal. Staff is always great and clubhouse is nice.
Fairways were dead, like hitting off of hard pan. Greens were not in too bad of shape. Some of the greens were pretty bad.
This course needs some help and a lot of water.
Bad shape
The entire course is rough. Maybe 4 holes have a discernible fairway. Otherwise you are hitting off dirt or weeds. Just awful. The greens weren’t horrible but everything else was so bad that it didn’t really matter.
With playing. Not worth a drive
If you’re in the area it’s worth playing for the price. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to play it. Many spots in fairways were hard pan and blotchy. Greens were in good condition though! I played as twosome so it was brutally slow behind a foursome. Overall, it’s worth playing at least once. No regrets.
Give the fairways some time
A few of the fairways the Bermuda is pretty thin, but once it warms up should fill in nicely. Aqua is in better condition right now. I’ll play again in a few months see if the fairways come back by then.
Know your expectations
If you are playing this course you will be met with friendly staff at the pro shop. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were only a few people there. If your expectations are exceptional fairways you will be mistaken. A lot of holes were just weeds and even dirt you were hitting off of. That being said Oklahoma had large amount of rain that might have caused issues so I gave the course the benefit of the doubt. The greens were surprisingly in good shape. The course had a lot of water holes surrounded by trees which made it feel like I was golfing in another state so that was fun. Overall if you are a casual golfer that doesn’t like dress codes and long pace of plays this is a good course for you. Although the fairways needed some work I would play this course again.
Course Conditions
Played cimmaron National fairways were very rough greens were Okay at best. The course has a lot of potential but I would much rather go to Perkins, Oklahoma golf course
