New York Country Club

I had a 620 teatime this morning. The grounds were excellent. The staff was friendly pace of play was exceptional. I am definitely coming back and making this my home course. I don’t live too far away first time ever playing here and it was a great experience. The only thing I have to say negative would be that the greens have a lot of divots, but that’s on the players they need to repair them When putting.

For $125, you could play Mansion Ridge, Ferry Point, River Vale etc and get a much better experience for that kind of money. 9th Hole is a questionable hole. Friend had a double transfusion for $25 *insert Jackie Chan confused meme*.

As a long-time patron of the New York Country Club, I recently had the pleasure of playing a round on the 18th of May, and I must say, the improvements under the new management were truly remarkable.

Gone are the days of lackluster conditions; the course has undergone a significant transformation, thanks to the diligent efforts of the new management. From tee to green, every spot on the course reflects a commitment to enhancing the overall playing experience.

I was particularly impressed by the hands-on approach of the course's general manager, who can often be seen diligently overseeing operations and addressing any concerns. Their presence adds a reassuring touch, highlighting their commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring that every aspect of the club runs smoothly.

As someone who has witnessed the evolution of the New York Country Club over the years, I can confidently say that the recent changes have exceeded my expectations. Each visit brings anticipation and excitement, eager to discover what new enhancements and improvements have been made. It's a testament to the dedication and vision of the management team, who have succeeded in elevating the club to new heights.

In conclusion, my recent experience at the New York Country Club left me thoroughly impressed and eagerly anticipating my next visit. For anyone , I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to this rejuvenated gem.

Nice course, well maintained. Can’t hit driver on the range due to lack of distance but over all good conditions

The rough was so thick and extremely high that if you rolled off the fairway it was almost impossible to find your ball.

We started after 4pm saturday . Pace was really slow. Two some front of us was really slow playing and there was no ranger on the course.

Green is really hard

Outing, I thought I was getting a high end course with high end amenities. Was disappointed by the following…

Staff was not friendly and seemed to not care about non-members. Had to ask for help constantly. The practice range is a “One of a kind” driving range that is in fact a practice range for Irons only. The greens you aim for are

not maintained which does not prepare you to be successful on the course with undulated greens that can be challenging.

I do think there is potential, but believe the work is in staff training and being honest about what they offer. If they were I would have gone elsewhere.
