Course is in great shape fairway to green. Tee boxes need some serious work but the rest of the course and the newly redone bunkers are great. Don't understand how you don't have any divot mix in the carts or on the tee boxes!

Stunning views of the Hudson River and NYC. Hillside golfing introduces wonderful challenges. Exhilarating play!

The course is challenging, picturesque, and in great shape. I highly recommend it.

The Course offers a cool layout featuring a few visually intimidating tee shots, strategic bunkering, deceptive sightlines, rolling elevation changes, and expansive mountain views. The secluded setting gives the course a peaceful feel that distinguishes many courses in the region.

Pace of play was surprisingly smooth and steady, especially for a busy Friday at a public course in Southern New York. While green fees and mandatory cart fees can make prime tee times relatively expensive, the overall experience justified the cost. Course conditions were solid, with well-maintained fairways and greens. Although a few tee boxes showed signs of seasonal wear, they had little impact on an otherwise enjoyable round. The exceptional staff made it that much more fun.

Patriot Hills was in fantastic shape with very fast greens and thick, long rough but renovated traps are sand boxes. Way too much sand. Shocking to see a great course make such a mistake.

Other drawback is the restrictive speed on carts on certain downhill paths. Steep turn restrictions are understandable but way too excessive.

Staff and pace of play on a Wednesday were great. Course itself offers great views and a good challenge. The course itself was looking beat up. Par 3 tee boxes were very rough. Greens had aeration slit makes. Approach area in front of a number of greens were aerated and burnt out in places. Overall I would rate it a 4 stars.

Patriot Hills was in great condition. Tees, fairways, and surprisingly quick greens.

The elevations make this course well worth the drive. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Terrible pace of play with no rangers out there to enforce it.

Unfortunately it was cart path only and there was no advanced warning nor were we given a reason why despite asking. We were told it had nothing to do with weather or conditions, and the course was in very good shape. Simple improvement would be to use colored flags to depict front, middle and back. A lot of uphill approaches make it hard to determine where the pins are and since greens are rather large it matters significantly. Practice green is faster than the greens on the course, but they roll true.

Usually very nice but at this time…. Seriously slow… I think… this is unusual case…
