Played 4 holes, then left.
This course is in terrible condition. Most holes have temporary greens. Some holes, you just skip completely. I blame GolfNow for even posting their tee times.

Under Repair
The course which just completed a huge renovation is severely under repair. Most every green is unplayable and the course set up temporary green in the fairways with no change to the playing surface between the fairway and the temporary greens. No employees said anything to us about the conditions we had to get the info from others playing the course.

Really fun for the price
Obviously the greens were under repair but I really appreciated the discounted price. We wouldn’t have played at the normal price (with greens under repair) but for the price it was great and we had a ton of fun.

I have played this course many times and love the hilly layout and the views it’s elevation provides. The new sand is nice. The clubhouse is better after the recent remodel. Right now, many greens are not playable and it is in a temporary state given what appears to be damage from a winter problem. Granted, the fees do reflect this as they are very cheap right now. I am going to wait a while before going back and hope that it recovers.

Course is under repairs from spring freeze. They have made temporary greens that are puttable for now.Fairways are groomed very well.
Work in progress
The Canyons was my favorite place to play before the big freeze in February 2021. Currently temporary greens while waiting in recovery. Great place to hit the ball around still abd very friendly staff. If you are wanting a true putting experience go somewhere else. Can’t wait for recovery!!

Canyons
The golf course is under major repair which should have been stated on golf now before I purchased the tee times. 3 holes were ruled unplayable so we had to skip those holes. All but three holes had temporary greens.

Terrible conditions
I had no idea the course was in such bad shape or I would have never gone there. The blizzard created a lot of damage to it. Most of the greens were temporary and very rough.

there is no reason why Golfnow cannot inform a player that a course has 15 OF THE 18 HOLES CLOSED OR TEMPORARY GREENS BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION

Fun Track
Normally a great place to play. Lots of elevation change. Lost their greens due to the winter, so currently overhauling everything and using temporary greens.

Bad day
I had no idea the course was in such bad shape. I had a relative in and bragged about the course. Big disappointment
I understand how you feel but if you have noticed -- almost every course in town has those issues. Some are worse than others but I played BattleCreek and Southlakes and they had issues as well - it will come back -

Playing on several temporary greens and some issues but it is going to be very nice - love changes to club house and carts - cannot wait to see it in a few weeks

Beautiful Course
Obviously the greens have had some issues. However, the layout and scenery of this course are an enigma in Oklahoma. Once they have the greens back up to par, this will be a must play.

Good overall
This is a great course, especially in normal seasons. However, this season(2021), there have been many weather incidents cause almost all courses in Oklahoma to struggle. Expect wet spots and plugged balls if you are playing after a rain storm. Right now the greens and some spots in the fairways are struggling, but that is due to the rain and after effects of a long freeze this winter, hopefully all will be back to normal next year. Bunkers, greens, clubhouse, and on course bathrooms are all recently redone and in fantastic condition, aside from the greens due to weather as previously mentioned. Challenging course that really makes you think especially on tee boxes like the 3rd, 11th, and 16th. The par 3 12th off the side of a cliff is a fun hole and will leave you scratching your head on club selection. Ultimately a great course with great people and great tee time prices. Also, the pulled pork sandwiches and homemade chips are a great lunch to grab at the turn.
