Golfer Reviews
Fabulous track!
Try to find a time to play this course every time I travel to Tulsa! Great layout, staff are really great, the greens are very nice for this time of year and the various tees give a great test from all locations.
Well run course, beautiful setting
The Canyons at Blackjack Ridge is a shotmakers course: think about a hole, then choose your shot carefully. Good scores are available. Multiple short par 4 with bling tee shots, 100 foot elevation change on par 3, several greens break with the local terrain; not what you think you see. Fun challenges.
My hat is off for the superintendent and his staff - beautiful conditions on a heavily played facility. Excellent greens free of Bermuda and goose grass, carpet like, reasonable speed, smooth, true breaks. Staff is exceptionally courteous to players - great job guys.
I drive 45 miles to the course and wish I lived closer to enjoy a membership. I'll be back.

First time at The Canyons
It was a very enjoyable round. I am so glad the pro shop allowed me to go off early with a group that had played the course before. Several of the holes have blind tee shots and I would not have known the line without the help. Greens were fast and smooth. The fairways were wide and well maintained.
Great course, greens and fairways in great shape. Pace of play is slow on weekends avg. 5 hour round.during the week 2 can play in 3.5 hours easily.
Great layout
Really fun course to play. Challenging if you have never played it before with the slope of different holes. Course is in decent shape for the money. I would recommend this course.
Great.. but hard
If you're not use to dealing with major elevation changes, this course will surely test that for you. Everything is going up hill, or down hill. Great views of downtown Tulsa and the city. It's a short course as well, tips are just around 6000. Quite a bit of blind shots which for a first time playing alone made it that much harder, NO idea where to hit at times or how far..Great value for quality!
Canyons
Breathtaking views all over course. Enough grass to get the club under the ball in most places. Greens were great for smooth roll. Some pins were challengingly placed. Rough was not constantly overwhelming. Had an awesome round.
The Canyons
The course was really in good shape and a lot of fun to play. The best views of Tulsa just make playing even more enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and upgrades are being made throughout the course. The best course I have paid for the price you pay. They do an excellent job maintaining this course and are always working on it. Looking forward to play again.
Challenging course
This course has wonderful scenery and presents a great challenge for most golfers. The pace of play was great even for a single player. Greens were tricker than at first glance. This course is great and I will be back in the future.
