My favorite Public course in Tulsa Metro
There are some really nice public tracks in Tulsa, and I’ve been fortunate enough to play most of them. But this one is something special, the views are immaculate and the course is tricky and fun. Slope and elevation changes will keep you on your toes and leave you wanting more.
Super fun and challenging course
This is a great public course. It has to be my favorite in the area! It’s challenging and awesome views and terrain. Would definitely recommend!
poor course conditions
Poor course conditions. Lots of sand and mud in the middle of the fairways. I showed up early for my Tee time and the proshop changed my Tee time to a later time. Not friendly proshop staff.
golf round at the Canyons
had a great time at the canyons this past weekend, definitely would play course again. i am still waiting on Golf Now to award me my points though.
Favorite Course
There are lots of good courses in the Tulsa Area, but this one takes the bacon. Greens are in excellent condition, and no issues with course conditions at all. Cart girl was super friendly and made sure to check in with us periodically. If you haven't been here yet, use this comment as a sign from the gods that you should just go ahead and book it lol
Even after storm
The course was absolutely immaculate even after the big storm the night before
Awesome
Very challenging lots of elevation changes and fast greens. A must play when in Tulsa!
Good course, bad marshal
Played an early spring round, mid morning tee time on a Saturday. Pace was moderately slow most of the round, but got ridiculous at the turn. The marshal stopped a player in our group to give a swing lesson, broke up a fivesome in front of us two holes later, and, with groups backing up, proceeded to give another swing lesson to a player in front of us. They need to get a real marshal out there to handle pace of play, not make it worse.

Course was great for late winter conditions.
I love the challenging layout and the friendly folks who keep in such good condition.
Good greens, mushy around when wet. Good views

Not your typical city course
What a great change of pace from your typical straight forward course. The Canyons has remarkable views and drastic elevation changes. The bentgrass greens and sand traps were in excellent condition. The tee boxes and fairways were okay. Lots of hard doglegs and blind shots. Definitely a course where course knowledge will come in handy. If you are looking for something a little different then this is the place for you.
Challenging
What a course !!! Great course. Will have to say it was tough finding the #1 tee boxes. After that all were easy to find.
