The Canyons At Blackjack Ridge

Overall the course was amazing. Great views and very challenging holes. Not a single hole that doesn’t make you absolutely think over your tee box choice or approach shot. I’ll definitely be back when I get a little more experience. Only complaint was pace of play but it’s expected on a holiday and it still wasn’t terrible, just wished it was a lil quicker from the group in front of us.

overall the course is very challenging and enjoyable.

however the new driving range mat area needs a lot of improvement. for over half of it you can’t use the walk way or you will physically interfere with someone’s backswing, you can’t put the tee into the mat very far at all. definitely needs improved.

the tee boxes today were god awful. they as hard as concrete. fix it

Man what a fun track! Not an overly long course but uneven lies uphill carries make for a real challenge. Greens held well and rolled really well. Greens are a little on the slower side right now but they were very true. I’d recommend this course to anyone! The views are terrific with abundant wildlife in and around the rolling hills and blackjacks. If you haven’t played this gem you are definitely missing a great round of golf!

All the greens are back. They experienced some burnoff in the early summer and had temp greens for awhile, but are back to 100%. They also improved many of the tee boxes, and moved them back a little(which I enjoyed, since I normally play here a few times a month). Staff was super friendly as always and course is in great shape!

No idea why they chose to do this in peak golf season, especially when there are plenty of other courses to choose from in the area. The entire course is essentially a par 3 with a couple of par 4s. Putting was a joke. The cup was about 3 times the size of regulation. Very poor experience overall

Don't when the course will be fully functional, but as of right now, it is absolutely awful. Everyone had no idea which hole they were on or which flag they were supposed to go towards. Could be a beautiful course, and sure it will be once finished. I personally won't be paying $20 to play on such till then.

Booked with golf now but they didn’t state tht course was under construction for greens!! Course was basically a par 3. Better communication with local courses with course updates for no. Playable courses!!

Didn't know until I arrived that the course is playing temporary greens. Most holes are playing like a par 3 with temporary greens in fairway with 8" cups. It was silly golf. Could not putt at all. I really like this course and will go back but only once the greens are reopened.

I would wait to play for a while. The Greens need a lot of work but still love the course.

Tee to green, nice course. The greens are HORRIBLE right now, which they have already taken some proactive steps to repair and have them scheduled, which is great. I wish the course close to my house would do this. However, Canyons has SO much potential and it was GREAT a couoke years ago. We've had some bad weeks of winter, which is why the greens are in bad shape. Overall, good course, just the greens sucks for right now. They will get it all together soon. Picture is of #3, one of the better greens.

I used to love this course. Fantastic trek, terrific variety of holes, great views, but not the experience you want. Their greens have been bad for two years now. I did not see the “warning” that apparently they have on the golf ow site. They charged full price for having grass on 1, yes only 1 green, on the entire course, they are literally dirt. When I mentioned something at the turn to the guy working the pro shop, that I couldn’t believe they were charging full price, he said “ there’s a warning of the conditions” warning or not, it’s bad service and terrible to continue to charge people full price. I will never. Ever go back. He was so rude and condescending, it’s not worth it. I will take make golf elsewhere from now on.
