Not bad
The greens are in much better shape then before,but still need work. Most of not all of the tee box’s are bare. Hopefully the spring can bring some more improvements and get the course better.
Don’t do it.
I grabbed an online tee time last minute. Easily the worst golf course I’ve ever played. I had heard they got new greens a few years ago but it was clear they haven’t maintained them. The “fairways” were the worst I’ve seen. Don’t waste your money.
Good. Not bad. Not great. It is what it is
Members will not let you play through. Course allows members to do whatever the heck they want. Mens group was 12 carts on a Saturday. I was in a twosome and wouldn’t let play through. We skipped ahead only to have the pro shop attendant tell me if I did that again I would be banned. I have played the course a couple times in the past few years and it is always the same. Play 9. You won’t be able to finish 18 if you don’t want a 6 hour round. They have added 9 holes but I have never seen them open the new course. Maybe it would help pace of play if you did. Just throwing that out there.
This course has great bones
The bones of this course has great bones to it. The greens are a little rough but overall it was a fun and challenging course to play. Pace of play was a little to slow, Marshall did his best but that’s sometimes out of their control. Overall fun track.

Great track. Some challenging holes. Pace of play was rough. The Marshall did his best at speeding it up. But it is what it is, not necessarily the courses fault
Didn’t know what to expect
I realize it just opened for the season but being my first time golfing in Oklahoma I was not expecting to golf without any grass on the fair ways.
Would have helped having obvious yardage markers. With all the hills we were hitting blindly not knowing how far the water hazards might be or the doglegs for that matter.
Great Staff and Great Layout
The staff is great and the layout is great too!! The only complaint is the greens are a little bumpy.
Course needs work
Fairways were managed ok, non fairway areas looked like they may have been mowed last week after about not being mowed for a month. Lots a piles of dead grass everywhere. Greens were hard as a rock, and pretty close to the same color, not much green to them at all. Layout is pretty good, very challenging Par 5's.
Great layout
The layout of surrey hills is great, a lot of trees and it requires shot placement. The course conditions have been rough the last 5 years but it has improved since being bought out recently. Has the opportunity to become a great course if the greens are maintained and the rough is mowed.

Terrible Course Layout and Greens
Do not go here. Any other public course in OKC is better then it and they’re driving range is terribly placed at an angle.

Will Never Go Back - Do Not Waste Your Money
The course was in terrible condition. The greens were spotty and as hard as concrete. The fairways and rough were full of weeks and crabgrass. The course was poorly maintained. If that weren't bad enough, the pace of play was extremely slow and there were no course marshalls attempting to keep pace of play.
I won't go back to this course and I recommend you find somewhere else to play.

Badly maintained course
The greens were so bumpy that we were hoping to hit a bump to send our putts toward the hole. It happened a few times...but not enough. It looked as if they hadn’t mowed or rolled the greens in days.

Greens need help
People at Surrey are very plesant and great to be around. The course is improving however the greens are not improving. Once green improve this course will be such a pleasure to play
