Work in progress
The greens, which have been lacking, are getting better. You’ll still get an occasional strange bounce or ball movement but the greens seem to be improving. The rest of the course is in pretty decent condition.
Management with no regard for COVID issue
Pro shop was packed with 100 people drinking and ignoring social distancing. No one wearing masks
With no regard for others. Course staff not wearing masks and made no attempt to assure the safety of others. Recommend that all players avoid Surrey Hills. They have more concern for there profit and not the safety of the public
Awful Greens
The greens were absolutely terrible. They weren’t mowed down and were as patchy and diseased as any green I’ve ever seen before. I will not personally be back to this course and wouldn’t suggest this course to anyone else.
Just terrible
Greens are maybe the worst ive ever seen hitting a putt is like dropping a puck on a plinko board its gonna bounce around on the sand and divots and theres no telling where its gonna go.
Water the greens!
Greens were bumpy, dry, hard to read, and just bad! Rough is well watered which makes you pay for an errant shot but give those greens some of that water!

I really hate to give a bad rating! However, people playing need to know.
Please tell people the greens are in bad shape before wasting entire afternoon. Plus the cost is way too high for the condition of the greens.
Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back!
The course looks great!
Everything except a few greens were in great shape. They have even built an extra 9 holes out there and expanded the practice range!
With the exception of 2 holes that I still don’t like the layout...it is offering good deals and we will be back.

Surrey Hills - not worth the cheap price of admission
Course was in terrible shape. Greens were covered in sandy and poorly kept, and had just been aerated and we weren’t notified of that. Couldn’t putt on any of the holes. On a lot of the holes, you couldn’t tell the difference between the rough and the fairway. Worst part was that they let a 30some (give or take) tee off in front of us and they all played together the whole 18. Seemed like a Men’s league or something, which I understand, but we weren’t notified of that either. Really slowed our day down to a screeching halt. The only good part about the course was their golf carts.
Decent but overpriced
Surrey is a decent course. But there is absolutely no way I would pay $275 per month for a membership, and even at $40 per round it’s a bit much for what is offered. Greens have been lacking for some time (on this day they were sandy and aerated). If I had the choice between this or Crimson Creek in El Reno, Crimson wins every time because of cost alone.
Played the “new” back 9 today. They were barely maintained and you can lose a ball that is hit in the middle of what the fairway would be.
Definitely needs more TLC, especially if they want to charge $40/round or gain memberships.
Terrible greens
I’ve played this course several times over the last couple years. My old home town course was similar to the greens they have but $18 a round makes up for crappy greens. I know they have new greens but at some point you can’t use that excuse anymore they are no longer new. I’d recommend they fire whoever is in charge of that and replace them. You can play a very nice city course for the same price they charge or go to El Reno and play their course for a much cheaper price. Surrey hills should never charge more than $20 for their very very crappy greens.
New greens!
Many of the reviews I read said the greens were horrible. I was talking to Keith about shoes, and when I brought up the greens he said the new management had them redone this year. I played 18 and everything seemed well maintained to me, I’ll definitely be going back. The staff was very helpful and friendly, despite the challenges Covid-19 has brought..
Surrey Green's are Back!
Greens are growing in again, best in a year. Once they finishing growing in just need to be rolled and are in much better condition.
Covid golf
There was a group of member’s that was totally ignoring the 4 golfer per hole rule. There were 6 all standing in close proximity. It was very disappointing to see and it slowed down play to a halt. There was no marshal.
Greens need some work
The course wasn’t bad. It has a decent layout and is pretty open but the greens are horrible.
Terrible greens
Very dissatisfied! Greens are really bad!! No course map! Ridiculous! Cart oaths are horrific!
Several Challenging Holes
The course has three, 9 hole layouts. The course has holes that are both somewhat easy, and challenging as well. If you like the challenge of water, and creeks; then, this course is for you.
Thank you for taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass along your feedback to the staff so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting us!
