Worth the trip from anywhere
The courses and beautiful shape. The tee boxes are impeccable, the fairways are Lush and manicured, the greens or smooth and cut for a consistent speed. The driving range is grass and very well kept. The only complaint is we didn't see a snack cart the entire day we were there.

Nice course to play. Walkable. Wish the rough had a first cut or was less thick and tall.

US Open Rough
First off, I love this course and it is always in great condition, however.....
The rough is UNBELIEVABLY high just off the fairway. So much so you can't even see the ball. The only advantage is that you will find 3 or 4 other balls while looking for yours. This has been the case for many years and when you suggest they should have a first cut off the fairway it never happens. It not enjoyable losing your ball after just barely missing the fairway. Even if you find it you won't hit it far as the grass will grab the club. I will be avoiding this course in the summertime.

Needs a cut
Rough is very thick right now, was hard to find your ball sometimes when you knew where it landed.
Fairways were a little think and so were the greens (ran slow).
I’ve seen the greens in way better condition than this.
But overall still love this course, and always a friendly staff.
