Friendly staff, excellent layout out.
Forest Hills Golf Course continues to get better every time I play it. The course maintenance and ongoing upgrades are clearly paying off, and you can tell there’s a real commitment to improving the overall playing experience. Conditions keep trending in the right direction, which makes each round more enjoyable than the last.
Nick, the head golf pro, is an outstanding instructor. His ability to communicate fundamentals, make practical swing adjustments, and actually help you improve your game sets him apart. Every interaction feels purposeful and geared toward real results.
Joey in the golf shop is also great to work with—always welcoming, easy to talk golf with, and genuinely invested in the players and the course community.
Between the continual course improvements, strong leadership, and great people, Forest Hills is a course that makes me want to play here more and more. It’s becoming a regular stop for me, and it’s easy to see why.
Maintenance
If you are going to charge so much for it, why not do some maintenance? Entire course needs some water. If you are willing to spend money on water, then lower green fee.
Forest hills comments
The course conditions were extremely poor, lots of dry spots. Alt times you feel you are playing on concrete, the conditions were horrible not to mention a number of groups were over serviced alcohol made lots of loud screaming noises and made us uncomfortable- no course marshal. Sorry I will not play there again, I just couldn’t believe they are changing to play.
