Incredible value
Worth the drive to play at Sunset. Course conditions are excellent and continue to improve. Compared to just 2-3 years ago they’ve made dramatic improvements on the fairways and greens. The clubhouse has very limited offerings in terms of food, drink or amenities but what they do have is reasonably priced. They also have coolers and ice. Great place for a relaxing round in the country. Highly recommend!
Great course, but the tee sheet is stacked
I think it was like 6 or 8 minutes between tee times and the course was packed. It took 3:38 to play 9, at least it wasn't too hot. But the pace of play was pretty painful. I usually play much earlier for this reason, but it was a last minute round yesterday, so while it was only $15, I paid for it in other ways.
Great course!
You can’t beat this course for value! Great condition, well kept, and staff are super friendly and helpful. Low key atmosphere is perfect for beginners but also has a few challenging holes for experienced golfers. Greens are always is excellent condition and overall condition is comparable to many higher end courses. Amenities are basic- small bathrooms, no driving range, and only snacks and drinks most days. All drinks and snacks are very reasonable and they do have coolers with ice. On the weekends they usually have hot dogs.
Just a great place to play 18 for a killer price and enjoy the country setting, cornfields, and the relaxed setting.
Decent course and good pace
Always enjoy coming to play this course, good pace and usually never too packed. Decent maintained. Greens can be a challenge from being a shape of a muffin top, other than that, it's a great course for anyone looking to play golf.
Fun 9-hole country course
This course's fairways were in good condition, and the greens were, too . . . but the greens are pretty slow. Most of the greens are pretty small so reward accuracy. There's no driving range, and only a small practice green that only allows putting. The course is surrounded by beautiful agricultural land. While by no means is this course CC or resort course quality or design, it was fun and I'd definitely play it again sometime - even at a non-discounted price (and with nobody in front of me, I was done in about an hour and 20 minutes).
Nice course for the money
Asking for someone riding in your cart but not playing is rediculous. Even nicer courses dont do this. Why would you guys? It makes no sense at all.
