Liked the course but didn’t feel it was a $60 course (with a cart)….very little waiting but we played at noon on a weekday, total round took about 3.5 hrs
Beautiful Affordable Gem
Beautiful course layout that challenges the person but also rewards with beautiful views of surrounding fields, rolling hills and old growth trees. The course is generally well kept, but can tend to be a bit soggy in certain low areas (it’s PNW after all). I love that it rewards precision over just distance, and misses to left or right will generally land you in trouble. Oh, and don’t leave it short on approach, that’ll land you in trouble to lol. Anyways, fun course that uses the layout to make things exciting.
Pleasantly surprised
It’s been years since playing there, super hot day made it tough to walk - it IS hilly! Beautiful this time of year located in Ag country, nice drive, too.. Not an easy course, but fair enough to score.
Great layout, slow play.
Forest Hills is a great layout and a very fun course. I have played it multiple times in the past few months. The greens are in good shape and roll quickly. They have a few different greens to putt and chip on which makes it nice for how busy this course stays. Service was friendly and the clubhouse is nice. However, my biggest complaint is that they have no starter or marshalls keeping up the pace of play. While I would agree that the first hole is a drivable par 4, they should still have someone out there properly maintaining groups and tee time. I had a 108 tee time and didn't swing until 140. We were told it was running behind, but I have experienced this multiple times as of late. For how nice this course is represented they should really space out the times by a few minutes more or get someone out on the course helping maintain the proper pace of play. A 4 hour and 45 minute pace of play for 18 is pretty unacceptable. I will return again, but I will choose a few other local courses over Forest Hills that don't repeatedly have running behind tee times and slow pace of play.
Love the course, teed off 30 minutes late
Overall experience was fine, we had to tee off late because so many were playing and very slow play.
10 minute wait on each tee, had to stop after 9 because of all the delays.
I’ll go back, maybe during the week instead of weekend
Disappointed
Overbooked. 30 mins delay start. 5 somes on a Saturday. The staff was very indifferent and non apologetic for being late. Couldn’t finish the last 4 holes. Cart fees are $20 per person!
Great course!
Forest Hills is one of my favorites. Beautiful course with massive trees. Great layout and challenging.
Hidden Gem
This course has an interesting and challenging layout .a couple " funky " holes . But , overall very fun and different layout. I definitely recommend. Playing it.
