Course Layout are TOO Close Together
Not impressed with the layout of the course.....it's like a zigzag layout. Every holes are too close together. You will always see golfers from the adjacent holes hit their balls onto your fairways and can potentially hit you. It's not my favorite course.
Mature course with excellent scenery and friendly layout
This course is surrounded by beautiful farmland and offers a very nice reprieve from the city.
Reasonable rates and friendly staff make it great experience!
Mud
First range was closed, surprise, surprise, no mention of it anywhere. Tee off at 11:45 at 3:25 we were on number 12, tee box waiting to tee off, almost 4 hours, worst pace of play ever. No marshall anywhere. One group held everyone up, we were stacked 3 groups deep in every hole on the front. Oh almost forgot to mention the mud, this track does not drain very well. I used to enjoy coming to Forest Hills, but ever since all the upgrades to the clubhouse, the course really has suffered.
Forest Hills beautiful and good fun
Medium challenge overall. Current construction made it more difficult.
Confusing location of 3 or 4 tees on our 9 holes— 2 tees May share the same plateau and it’s unclear which is which and in what direction.
Great day of golf
Course was beautiful with great condition. Lots of improvements going on to enhace the playing experience. Great day and looking forward to the next round
Dry summer takes a toll
$70 round with lots of dead spots on the fairways. I had fun and the greens were significantly better than the fairways, which were only rough in the spots you shouldn’t be hitting from. It looked like the above average dry summer was making it hard. It felt just a hair too much for the money, but I would probably go back if someone else wanted to play here. I do think it’s worth playing this course once if you get the chance.
Liked the course but didn’t feel it was a $60 course (with a cart)….very little waiting but we played at noon on a weekday, total round took about 3.5 hrs
Beautiful Affordable Gem
Beautiful course layout that challenges the person but also rewards with beautiful views of surrounding fields, rolling hills and old growth trees. The course is generally well kept, but can tend to be a bit soggy in certain low areas (it’s PNW after all). I love that it rewards precision over just distance, and misses to left or right will generally land you in trouble. Oh, and don’t leave it short on approach, that’ll land you in trouble to lol. Anyways, fun course that uses the layout to make things exciting.
