Eagle Creek Golf Course

About
Situated between Clackamas and Estacada, Eagle Creek Golf Club offers one of the best values in the area. Its location also provides scenic views across the swale of the old Oregon Trail with Mt. Hood as a backdrop on many of the holes. The course was carefully carved from mature forests of fir, oak, and cedar trees. The beautiful natural landscape remained as untouched as possible, which is why you'll most likely catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife that inhabits the golf course. At 6,263 yards from the back tees, the course plays fairly short but there are still plenty of challenges in store. Water hazards come into play frequently and the tall trees lining the fairways demand accuracy. One of the toughest holes on the course is Eagle Creek Golf Club's par-4 ninth, which features two parallel streams passing through the fairway.

Unique good course!
Great change from typical courses. Staff is so friendly and happy to have you! Crowned greens give your putting all you can handle, hardly a flat put all day.
First hole is a par 3, which sets the tone for a quirky day. Once you get to the 4th hole you realize this course is very different. You have huge clumps of massive trees in fairway, tight chutes w/ narrow straight shots only, and the 18th has trees blocking your dogleg and route to the fairway/green.
All and all, supper fun and different. Great place!
Good times
Great place with some challenging holes. Had a blast.
The tee boxes the hardest I've ever encountered
Eagle Creek is a no frills course but good value for the money. My primary complaint is the tee boxes are so hard that it was nearly impossible to get a tee in the ground. This may not seem like a big deal but by the end of the round it is a bit infuriating.
Fair war is in poor condition and need maintenance
Fair war is in poor condition and need maintenance. The soil is kinda dry and hard and need some water.
Cow Pasture Course
This course looks nicer in the pictures than it actually is in person. The ground is really hard which forces the ball have a ton of bounce. The greens themselves seemed fine but some had dead brown grass on them and other were extremely wet. I would probably play this again if the price value was better. Not the best money spent when you can get better courses for the same price.
Eagle Creek great hidden value
Good bargain. Nice course. Very challenging from the blue tees, especially if you've never played it before. Alot of hidden dangers mostly due to lack of course knowledge and undefined fairways. Some really good par 3's starting right out of the box. #1 185 par 3 with very difficult green. Definitely will try again and maybe play white tee's to enjoy the round a bit more. Had a good time and will recommend to friends
Beautiful Setting, Lackluster Course
Went out yesterday for the first time at this course. It’s a bit of a hike to get to it and the course is nothing special, a cow pasture by and large. I give them credit for the greens as they were very challenging and mostly in good condition. It would be an okay place to play if you are nearby and just beginning to play.
Wide open country golf
Playing here several times now but still struggling with high scores, maybe because the course lacks features and uniqueness holes to holes but I really enjoyed my round, it’s way out there but very reasonably priced and not too crowded I still recommend it.
Nobody there
I showed up an hour before my tee time and the gate was closed and nobody was in the pro shop. Even tried calling their phone number and no answer. The sign in the door said open but nobody was around. Still was charged the full price of the round and after calling Golfnow there was still no resolution. So now I’m out the money and the round of golf
Good times
The course is in great shape, greens rolling true fairways nice and dry. Lots of leaves on the edges so stay on the short grass or you risk losing balls you normally find.
Quiet
It was a nice day
Quiet course for golf
Lots of sunshine
Everything is good except green
