Nice 9 hole course
Greens were in excellent shape and quite challenging. Great course to take my wife to as no one was pushing behind us. Pace of play was very good. Fairways were in pretty good shape for the time of year. Green and nice where it mattered. Greens were lush and well kept. Used golf now and a great deal. Was going to walk it but they had carts available for a pretty reasonable price so we used a cart. Super comfortable seat! Nice cart. Owner was behind the counter and super nice. He takes pride in the courses condition. Overall great value. Definitely will go back when just wanting to play 9 either walking or with a cart.
Fun course
Fun course that’s large enough for better players but still forgiving enough for newer players. Some of the people playing need to learn better etiquette and understand that there are others playing and not just them. Thats not the course’s fault though.
Overall, a great time is always had at Greenlea and we’ll be playing it many more times in the future.
My review of greenlea
A buddy of mine took me here for the first time a couple of years ago. I absolutely love this course. It's a good test of your skills. Teaches you to be accurate, with your driver/3wood on a couple of the par 4s. Great place to work on your shot game. It's really a fun course, Scott has always been friendly. If you haven't been, you need to go.
Great for money
9 hole course if you want a cheap easy round, this course is great
Challenging Greens
Very good short game challenges; greens are quite small with significant breaks.
Excellent little executive course
We don’t have a lot of time or if you’re playing with some beginners this is a great little nine hole course.
The greens were a little fuzzy, but other than that for what you pay for this is a great time
Friendliest owner in town!
Great course for families, newer golfers and anyone wanting to sharpen their short game. Excellent price for the play. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Scott, who thanked us for coming out. Pace of play was slow due to a tournament in front of us. When we finished, there was Scott thanking us again and encouraging us to come back. We had our grandsons with us and everyone had fun. We will be back!
Started off as a potential favorite but I won’t be back.
I was hoping to make this my regular course but after one subpar experience followed by a downright crappy one, I can’t see myself coming back. I golf 9 holes because I only have time to golf 9 holes. I don’t expect lightning speeds, but waiting 9-12 minutes on every single tee box and often waiting in the fairways for 3-5 minutes for groups to finish out putting means I’m forced to pick up on hole 4 or 5 and go home. I get that courses need to make their money so they try to maximize the number of tee times, but I don’t think that should come at the expense of the experience of the game. And to top it all off, when the guy in the pro shop saw me getting in my car to leave after the 4th hole (and an hour on the course at this point) he asked if I was giving up and when I said yes he sarcastically said “glad you had a great time”. Pretty crap to mismanage the course and then throw rude comments at the people who get rightfully bothered by it.
Greenlea golf course is worth the trip
Such a great course very unique executive course. Greens were challenging and rolled so nice. Well maintained course and got done way faster than other courses. Very charming course
