Total Neglect, Awful Service, and Blatant Discrimination
Save your time and money… this course is a complete disaster.
My recent experience here was genuinely frustrating from the first tee to the final green. This course suffers from a total lack of maintenance, unprofessional staffs, and an absolute disregard for basic golfing etiquette.
Blatant Double Standards & Apparent Discrimination:
The absolute lowest point of the day came on the 16th hole, when a staff member was waiting to confront us. He claimed we were violating the rules by having a group of five (five of us Asian individuals playing, plus one Black friend riding along as a spectator). While we recognize that five-somes are typically against standard policy and we made an honest mistake, the enforcement was completely hypocritical and felt deeply discriminatory. Earlier in the day, we watched two separate groups of five white players (one group of five women in matching red outfits, and another group of five men) playing without a single issue. When we asked the staff member why we were the only ones being targeted, he claimed it was because someone "complained about us." This made absolutely no sense: we had booked two consecutive tee times back-to-back, there was nobody waiting behind us, and we were keeping a very fast pace.
When we pointed out our fast pace, the employee proudly boasted that he had been in the golf industry for "85 years" and that "no group like this plays fast." This condescending attitude and blatant double standard made us feel entirely unwelcome and targeted based on our race.
The Greens:
Instead of healthy turf, the greens are a bizarre bluish-green color and look completely stressed. Worse, they are absolutely littered with unhealed divots and ball marks, making any consistent putting impossible.
Cart Paths:
Calling these "paths" is generous. They are nothing but loose rocks, featuring massive ditches that were completely filled with standing water. We couldn’t even find the cart path on the last hole cause there wasn’t one.
Disruptive Maintenance & Construction:
To make matters worse, there was zero coordination between the pro shop and the ground crews. On one hole, a full construction crew was actively chopping down a tree right on top of the red tee box while we had to wait for them to redirect us to put down our tee on the fairway to play. It’s both a safety hazard and an immediate rhythm-killer especially when we hear a big noise while hitting when the tree fell on the red tee.
Zero Golfing Etiquette:
The final straw was the complete lack of course etiquette, specifically from the staff. While we were in the middle of playing a hole, the cart girl drove straight up the fairway right as we were actively preparing to hit, asking if we wanted a drink. It completely ruined our focus and our entire game on that hole.
Terrible Food & Accused of Stealing:
We ordered six Italian wraps that were supposed to come with normal toppings and chips. Instead, we got dry meat and cheese, and the bar staff offered us mayo a fix. Because the kitchen ran out of chips, the bartender told us to grab bags from the front lobby. When we did, the front staff loudly accused us of stealing in front of everyone until another worker corrected him.
Final Kick in the Teeth - Surge Pricing:
To top off an already terrible experience, we discovered they had arbitrarily raised their prices that day. Paying premium rates for a neglected course, hostile management, and a clear lack of equal treatment is unacceptable.
We will never return to this course.

We will never return to this course.
Excellent course well mantained
We love this course, they do a great job. Fairways and greens were in great shape. We will be back soon.
Beautiful mt. course
played 18 holes on a Saturday morning payed $64.00 headed out to the first tee ten minutes early but the starter who was very friendly said no problem, he told us about the course ,gave us very good info . played the course in 3 1/2 hrs . Went to restaurant had great lunch at a reasonable price If it wasn't"t for the pro behind the front desk being rude like we were bothering him it would of been a perfect day.
Mountain views, not too difficult
Lovely, lonely courar with full bar and reataurant attached to pro shop. We went around quickly and enjoyed spectacular views with foliage season just beginning. Grass not pefect, so I just improved my lies. FUN!
Good little course.
I would t come here if you play once a week and this was your weekend course. But, if you have a beginner golfer and you want to get on course experience in a wide open setting with normal people playing on the course, it is perfect. Course is ok condition. Just not a mid tier or higher course. Friendly staff and people. Beautiful area.
Nice course
Beautiful views love to play here couple times a year. Few places under repair but overall fantastic.especially for the value. Drink prices very reasonable will continue to play here!
Horrible
I have never written a review before, but I had to not sure who is the superintendent or who’s in charge of this course, but it had to be one of my worst experiences on a golf course yet from the cart paths that were unpaved and Rocky and bumpy to the fairways that were Not smooth to ride on at all how wet iand muddy it was and we have had a heat wave the last 3 days…how many spots was under repair I’m not sure how long this course has been operating with the same people or new people, but it needs a lot of work. I’ve been to a number of courses over these last couple of years. I have two other courses that are worse than this one. absolutely horrible absolutely horrible. The range was through some sort of trail. It wasn’t a range at all really. Embarrassing. And to think they are charging $50-60. Super frustrating really when there are literally hundreds of courses to play. Sad.
The course is challenging and beautiful! Great course would
Highly recommend to anyone. E
