Nice fun course!
Staff is very friendly here. Which is great. Conditions on the course are okay considering the harsh weather be so late. Only suggestion is to get the air hose fixed up so I can clean up shoes and golf bag and cart. I will come and play again and again.
Good, Affordable Course out in Farm Country
I drive out from Portland town for q relaxing walk in the countryside and shoot a round of golf while I'm at it. I've played at Sunset Grove a number of times now and am always please by the shape of the course. It's not too difficult for these old bones, but there are a couple of water hazards to keep your eyes on.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Great, fun little course
Reminds me when I was growing up. Great staff. Fun course.
Positioning of the holes on the greens is pretty harsh though. Assume this is because of the recent golf tournament, or the greenkeeper likes to make things challenging :)
good value for money but conditions sliping
Maybe it is just the hot, dry weather but the course was not as good as it was before. Fairways and rough were all rock hard and super uneven. Nice staff. I hope it gets back to the good condition it was in the past.
Good place for walking nine
I like to walk nine holes. (I'm 75.) Carts are affordable though. Well-kept course out in the country.
I really do like the course I just wish I was made aware of a 10 a.m. shotgun start tournament when I booked a 8:56 tee time. Only got to play 7 holes with a group of four but that was only because we were trying to hurry so we picked up a lot. With that being said still a good value. Just sucked having to rush and not get to finish.

Great value! Good for Beginners! Haven’t played in 20 years, I was horrible everyone was friendly and patient! Will definitely play again.
Sunset Grove Is a Pleasant Surprise
Sunset Grove is a little in the middle of nowhere in the country, but I'm willing to drive a while to play on a friendly course with generally good over all conditions. I'll be back!
