Nice country course
Well maintained and friendly staff. Pace of play is about average.
The course is good for all skill levels
The course was in great shape and was well worth the money to play this course. Will definetley go back.
Worth the $$$$
Great course for the money and not to difficult for us not so good players.
Great Value
Very enjoyable. Great price. Must do again. Will recommend to my friends.
Good course for beginners
This course has wide open fairways and is a great place for beginners to practice. The cone-shaped green present a challenge for more advanced players too.
Cannot wait to go back!!!
We recently moved to FG and love this course. The locals we meet all go there and describe how the course and facility has improved each year.
It was an awesome round and my husband and his buddy (who travels a fair distance to play with us there) played another 9! They even have IPA!!
We are big fans!!
Fun Course
As said it is a fun little course to play. Moderate difficulty. Some great country views. Above all a very friendly staff, a family atmosphere as most seem to be long time members/players.
the course is in great shape
great course, tree are pruned up so you can find your ball well maintained and the people working the club house where very freindly
Nice open course with sufficient hazzards to challenge lesser experienced players.
Most fairways are wide and straight with two holes involving a water hazard. Only two "dog leg" holes.
Nice public 9 hole
Went here on Labor Day so it was a bit busy and slow paced but honestly we never stopped for more than a few minutes waiting for the group in front and I'm guessing its not always like that. It's a nice course outside of the hustle and bustle of the city and for $7 each, not a bad deal either. Good for all skills. Has two solid par 5's and a par of 36 total so you get a variety of shots in. Conditions were excellent on fairways and greens but a little yellow in rough and between trees. Definitely enjoyed the round and will go back again especially if I find it on golfnow.com
Good shape and fun
The course was in good shape and had a fair variety of average challenges. My only complaint would be that they overbooked and it took a long time to get through its 9 holes.
feel-good course
This is a very fun course. Not a lot of trouble, so this course allows you to work on your game while in play. Easily walkable and family friendly atmosphere. Great staff.
Great 9 hole value
On of the best values in the area. Really fun course with forgiving fairways.
Fun, basic course.
Anytime I'm on a golf course, it's difficult for me--but in the grand scheme of things, Sunset is an easier course. I took my grandson who has never played before, and at least he could play without getting messed up in trees all the time. The fairways were in much better shape than what I remembered from 30 years ago.
Sand awaits you second shot on #2. Water gobbles up a bad shot on #4 if you aren't playing well.
Course is fun to play. Greens are very tough as all are rounded. Play it often. $4 for 9 holes. Can't beat that at any course.
Great 9 hole course, easy on budget and easy to walk and enjoy. View of Mt. Hood on clear days awsome.
Fun little course that is well maintained, easy to walk in quiet area of farmland. Water to cross on 2 holes, a narrow 180 yd par 3, small greens some are tricky. For long hitters easy course, the rest of us fun with a few challenges to get those pars.
