About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

Great day, great pace. Early morning. good greens!
Interesting layout and fun to play
A free course guide was a nice feature. Some hidden hazards the first time you play.

OC golf club is great, challenging but never frustrating!
Great course.
I really enjoy this course because it has a great layout and the fairways/greens are in in perfect shape. I'll be golfing here a lot more.
Improved
This course has been really improved over the past few years. It is in great shape and super for the average golfers and seniors to have an enjoyable round.
difficult pin placements
We started early and that was good but it was the day they were playing the men's club championship. The pins were placed at spots on the greens with a lot of slope or break. Challenging but a good day. Service was good and the club house staff was attentative. The roving cart could have been out earlier.
Fun Day
Great weather, great pace of play and great hot deal on GolfNow. Overall course was in pretty good shape, but tees and fairway were a little dry. Staff was only ok, but marshal was very active and gave info on what was going on. Not a lot of people out playing, so I ended up playing as a single instead of the foursome I was booked with. Pretty easy course. Well worth the $10 hot deal, but not worth more than $20-25.

An enjoyable course to play. The fairways & greens were in good condition and the course layout was fun!
A good walk...
Perfect weather, warm slight overcast, light breeze.
Our twosome played with one other GolfNow single and had a great time. Course in great shape. Only bummer - no beverage cart that day.
Nice Playing course
Good course to walk, and good for beginners and experienced players alike.
It presented challenges if you didn't stay on the course and the greens were very good and challenging as well.
Fish-hook fairways
Oregon city is one of these courses that didn't quite have enough room for true par fives, so they make each par 4 and par 5 curved like a fish cook so it's impossible to get on for eagle on par fives and very hard to shoot for birdie on par fours unless you have played the course several times. Greens were pretty well kept, but on several of the holes they put a very large tree overhanging the fat part of the green so it cut down your window to approach.
For the price we paid on GolfNow, it was totally worth it, but for longer hitters there is no real reward at this course except for hole 17.
Slow high grass greens
keep greens grass too high and so extremely slow
for some reason they rubed the stearing wheel w/Armour All so it was a mess
Great Walking Course
Course is a nice walk with a few holes that are very hilly. Greens are in great shape and the course is fun to play.
Great course!
My first time there and I thought it was great! I want to golf there some more. The greens were kept up excellent with beautiful herb gardens and a nice view of Mt.Hood in the back ground . One of the best golf courses around. I liked it so much that I went back the next day!
Great Old Course
This is very old course. I like it because it isn't perfect. I t was built with very little dirt moved. I have played here for many years. Its not very long but it has several of the toughest holes in the area.
A decent course but the pace of play is always slow
Two tournaments that day in front of a 12:52 PM tee time. Paid for 18 but quit at 9 due to pace of play. Decent course though, I'll look for a less trafficked day next time and so should you.
Well kept
Course is a little confusing due to T boxes being so close together. We played No 1 T and ended up on 11 not realizing until we had gotten to 12.
Because the fairways are so close together you are constantly dealing with other golfers.
course is challenging
course was in real good shape. people are always friendly and polite. I play there at least once a month and always enjoy it even in the winter when its rainy and cold

This course has been improved since I played there at least 15 yrs ago. It's worth to play again. Excellent golf course, very good condition. Friendly course.
