Hadn’t played here in over 20 years
It was nice to see how the trees have matured in the many years since I last played Chili. Some holes are totally different in how you can play shots and position the ball off the tee. The greens and fairways were in decent shape with the greens being pretty firm. They were out mowing the fairways and some of the rough which was pretty long on several holes. I lost a few balls in the rough (I know, shouldn’t have been there) even when I saw a ball bounce. Cut to a more uniform height that shouldn’t be a problem. I played an early morning round so got finished pretty quickly. The pro shop has been refinished and looks nice with a good selection of equipment and accessories.
Nice course
This course was quite nice. Staff was very friendly. It was a little backed up but we just went ahead. Cart pads were a little beat up. But overall one of my favorite places to play. Very kid friendly.
Good course, but poor layout on hole 1
Hole 1 is very intertwined with the driving range. When playing hole 1 there were so many balls on the fairway I couldn’t find my ball. Besides this, the course was great.
Rough and slow
Nothing great. Just a country golf course with a lot of slow play. Only good thing is it was cheap. I’d say for 12-15 bucks try it but you can do a lot better for 20
Course was in excellent shape. Great golf for a great value
Paid $22 for 18 with a cart, while some others charge $19 for 9. Chili was in excellent condition and the grounds staff should be proud of their work. My friend and I were both impressed with every aspect of the course, including tee boxes, fairways, greens and even the rough. We saw numerous employees out mowing and it truly showed through how much the management of chili care about golf and taking great care of their course. I think playing in such great conditions on such a beautiful day actually helped us play better, compared to losing balls in the long rough or sometimes even fairways at other courses. Hats off to chili country club and thank you for dedicating so much time and energy to caring for your course.
Bring muck boots
This place is a swamp.
mostly dead trees lining the fairways.
Roughs high because of wet conditions; poor drainage, most fairways had standing water.
Never play there again and sorry I played there this time..
Nice course
We were traveling this was a good target of opportunity to play nine holes. Would like to try it again for 18. Golf now made a very affordable round.
Been playing this course for years. Always have a fun round here.
Chili much nicer than I remember
Booked the hot deal and teed off at 11 am. Starter and staff were helpful getting us out on time. We were fortunate to be paired with a wonderful gentleman who provided us with a wealth of on course information as there are many blind shots into greens that were very firm. Great value for the price!!
Value
A nice course for the price. Under 20 dol. For 18 and cart.
slow
12 members were allowed out in front of us at our planned tee time. player badly and wouldn't let is play thru. nave coming back
had planned to buy clubs here today. not now.
Ok for the money
Course has a fun holes and some you have to play smart of the tee or layup to creeks, unfortunately green were being aerating the greens other than that good course for the money.
greens true and smooth roll
Course in good condition, despite area drought conditions. Greens rolled for true reads.
Good value
Chili CC is a good value for $25 or so with a cart. Overall the course is in good shape-fairways are not bad and the greens are in great shape. The only minor complaint would be the tee boxes-they could use an overhaul.
Good course for the $$$, has some challenging holes but suitable for any skill level.

Good Afternoon, I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your time at Chili Country Club the other day. The group of gentlemen that played in front of you had tee times just like you. They usually start at 11:30am and are off the tee by 11:55am at the latest. Due to the beautiful day the course was extremely busy, there was 5 open tee times from 8am - Noon (when you teed off). So the tee was backed up and running a little behind the whole day. Remember, we did go out and try to sneak you off the back to make your round a little quicker and more enjoyable for you (since you were a two-some) but that was not possible due to the course being so busy. With the course being so busy my group, (yes, I played directly in front of you and heard you cussing every single tee that you couldn't believe that we were still in the way), saw that letting you play through would not do anything for you or the pace of play since all it would have done is just make us roll up to the tee on every hole with you guys still standing there waiting to hit (we wouldn't of cussed though, only difference). My group played in 4:30 hours on a 70 degree day in October with a full course in front of us. I am not to sure where you normally play but almost every golf course I know would be ecstatic with their course running at a 4:30 hour pace on a very busy day. I suggest you find two more people to play with you , if you can, it will allow you to play at the pace the rest of the course is playing at. If you have any more concerns or would like to continue this conversation please feel free to contact us at info@chilicoutnryclub.com .
