Seasonal Condition
Course in pretty good shape for fall. Leaves made play a little slower looking for balls and this is also true of deep thick rough.
Great place to play
Greens were great the fringe around greens were rough looks like they lost them over summer but playable
Fairways were well groomed and rough was playable
Consistent, Relaxing, Laid Back
A good all around fun course. Affordable price for a good course. Staff was nice. Relaxed place.
Great Weather, but slow play
Beautiful weather and course in good shape. Only comp;aint was that the course was very busy and the group in front of us were struggling and held us up. Ended up being a slow round.
Terrible Experience
Worst GolfNow experience ever. Not really sure if I will be using again. The course didn’t have my reservation. GolfNow had to contact the course and try to figure it out. The course pro shop employee treated us with the most disrespect. Course was packed that day too. Has been my favorite course too.
I would like to expect at least some sort of credit or heavy discount code for the past experience. I don’t like to complain but I had to. Sorry!
Nice Course
Greens were great, fairways mostly very nice, some tee boxes are in bad shape, but for as dry as it has been, very well kept.

Not impressed
I played this course years ago and thought it was in great shape. I was very disappointed to see the current conditions. Tee boxes were spongy. Greens were hard and could not hold them. And the greens were also very slow.
Great Restaurant, Course has seen better days
See above. The course has not been maintained. The restaurant was always the best in Central PA for being connected to a course. I guess they’ve gone all in on the food since the renovation looks fabulous.
I have nothing nice to say about the course.
Fun Course..
Fun challenging course. As with most public courses, marshals are needed to keep things moving; this course being no exception. We got stuck behind a foursome that would not let us play through, even though there was no one in front of them. They easily added an additional 40 minutes on to our round. Frustrating !!@#$!@#$! Anyhow, the course was in great shape and played fairly. The greens were pristine and the staff was friendly. For those golfers looking for a fun "links style" experience, I would recommend this course. It is truly a unique course in the area.

Average course with decent restaurant
Mayapple is your average public course. Greens and tees were in pretty good shape for July play. Got a great deal to play 18 with a cart so jumped on it. Made it through 9 before the rain came. Took a break for a bite to eat and then continued playing after the rain broke. Not a lot of people on the course that day ( a Tuesday afternoon) so that was nice. Will play again if I can find another great deal.
