Cumberland Golf Club

I Have played this course since the 1970's. It has various conditions over the years. Currently it's a little rough in some areas , I guess due to irrigation work and dry weather in late summer months. I guess the watering system is down? I play there occasionally because it's convenient. Price a little high for seniors especially this time of year. Sand traps and greens need work.Compared to conditions over the years sinc started playing there I have to rate it 6-7 compared to others in the area.

Nice day, partially rainy. Course in fair condition. Sand traps hard. Tee boxes lots of bare spots. Dry weather might be a factor. Could use more irrigation. Overall good day, will play there again.

Sone of the par 4s are very ling which challenges being in par. I like a good challenge.

Love this place golf here more than anywhere else. They take very good care of the course golf carts are nice staff is great.

We played course on June 29nth, starting at 11 am. The course was in good shape. It was a very hot and humid day. While I get that Covid has changed a lot of things, it would have been nice if we had cold water provide on the course. Other than that, it was an enjoyable course, but there were no short par 3’s. And there were some par 4 that were more than 450 yds…But overall a good course, and for the money, worth it !

Challenging Course compared to others in the area.

Even on a rainy front 9; this course was one of the best I’ve played in the area. On par with Dauphin Highlands, and for the money approaches even Iron Valley.

Beautiful layout and well kept tee boxes; ball cleaning stations and labeling could use some TLC but I’ll be playing here a lot in the future.

I ended up getting linked up with 3 young men from the pro shop and they were extremely enjoyable to play with, nice people in the pro shop, course was in good shape, played 18 holes in under 4 hours. Turned out to be a great day, will be back for sure!

I went there because Golfnow allowed me to sign up stating on the app from the golf course’s information I could play as a single. The pro shop was extremely unfriendly at this and complained a lot about GolfNow and put me with another group. I know courses don’t like singles. But don’t allow yourself to be listed that way. Not my fault! Holes are not next to each other and it was a challenge for my group to find them. Red tees weren’t even mowed on some holes. It was ok, but I’d have been much faster alone!!
