Liberty Forge Golf Course

Liberty Forge is a nice, little, challenging course on a beautiful piece of property. Unfortunately, this will probably be the last time I play since it's going to be more profitable as a retirement community than it is as a golf course. I guess that's just a sign of the times but it makes me very disappointed. The course is still in fairly nice condition with the exception of the tee boxes. I would suggest teeing off from wherever you can find some grass and ignore the markers. The sand in the bunkers could also use some fluffing and a few rakes but I guess they're winding down at this point... What a shame 😕 Make sure you have breakfast before you come. The on course restaurant is permanently closed and they have zero snacks in the pro shop. The place across the road at the range opens at 11 but no food til 12. 🙄

This is our favorite course and have played there for years. We found the course to be in very poor shape. The grass was so long if you got off the fairway you either couldn’t find the ball or it was impossible to hit. A lot of weeds where grass should be. Divots that are not being repaired. No rakes in the sand traps. Sad!

This is the last year for this course. Recommend you close it now, the greens are unplayable

It’s a shame this course is closing. Very nice executive course. Helps to tune your short game with some challenging tight layouts.

Not the first time playing here, but the first time this year the courses in good condition took my two nephews for their first time ever playing a full course stepping up from a part three only course. This is a great next step for them. They had a great time. Staff was super friendly and helped me get a junior rate for the nephews, which is a bonus as well.

I always enjoy playing this course. Its in great condition, a good price, and is fun and challenging.
