Liberty Forge Golf Course

This course is good for the price. Nice layout and some really good features. Course conditions were fair with some rough spots. Overall decent and would go back.

First time playing there. We didn’t know it was a Par 62 course. A lot of par 3 with a few short par 4. It is a very interesting layout. Especially hole 18. The course looks easy but it is not. We all have fun playing all the par 3 and finish the round in 3 hours.

The greens were completely covered in divots, and the tee boxes were poorly maintained, you were either hitting out of the rough or out of someone else’s divot. Power lines run throughout the course, ruining the scenery. The greens had patches of other grass growing in them, and the cart paths are in terrible shape. The carts themselves are cheap and uncomfortable. No putt rolled smoothly, you’d hit a divot, foreign grass, or dirt every time. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a quality round, you’ll walk away disappointed

Today I played this course, the greens are covered in ball marks, and not well taken care of. There are patches of dirt in the middle of some of the greens. The fairways are super small only about 30 yards long for most holes. Carts are old and shaky, and the paths are not well layed out and very rough. Another thing is they only have par 4’s and 3’s so it’s a very short course. Not worth the money.

This is a short course, only par 3s and 4s, with very narrow fairways. The greens, especially on the par 3s are in pretty rough shape as they're absolutely covered in ball marks. The staff was friendly and the carts and cart paths were well maintained. The course started league play at some time in the morning so I had to cut the round short after the 15th hole, which was pretty annoying. There were four league groups waiting to Tee off on the 16th, with multiple groups on 17, 18, and 1 at the time.

Appreciate the senior discount! Great course to practice short irons, chipping and putting. Course in great condition.

Enjoyed the unique par 63 layout. Very fitting for our threesome of a senior, junior and beginner golfer.

Liberty Forge is an executive course with par 3's and 4's. The longest holes are mid 300 yads long. Some of the greens can be tricky depending on if you have to putt uphill or downhill. Pace is key as a missed putt downhill can run for 50 feet. I had 1 player in front of me and no-one behind me. At the run a 2-some was there, most likely playing 9 and being sent to begin at hole 10. I left after the 10th hole as the next 4 holes are par 3's and can slow down immensely. The 2 some was waiting to tee off as I got to the 11th.

Pace of play was atrocious - we waited approximately 20-25 minutes per hole and the conditions were worth less than half of what they charge.

Course was in great shape for this time of year. The 18th hole is a little crazy having a narrow strip to hit on between 2 ponds. I will definitely play here again.

There was ice on the ground and a bit muddy, but for February golf, the course held up well. As the season progresses, the greens will firm up. But i never slipped in the tee boxes...
