Bad Maintenance
The course is a relatively tough course with the over abundance of side hill and up and down hill lies and I already knew this going in because I have played there before. That being said the majority of the playing surfaces were in decent condition. But the maintenance of the tee boxes, carts, and cart paths were just terrible. Almost all of the tee boxes were chewed up and need to be resodded or something. The cart I had was all beat up and barely moved. The cart paths didn't help because it was like driving on the surface of the moon with the amount of craters and potholes. Either maintain them better or just tear them out all together.
6-29
Cart paths are one giant pothole. Tee boxes are chewed up. Fairways and greens were in good shape for the most part.
Pleasantly surprised
Other then the bunkers being compacted and needing raked the course was in great shape. Listen to the starter on the holes that you need to stay below the flag.
This course has great features
The course was in excellent condition. For the amount of rain the area had during the week it was in real nice shape. The greens were really nice and the fairways had nice tight lies.
I look forward to playing this course again.
The staff was very courteous.
I recommend this course to play.
7 springs
The course was fun and challenging.
Play was very slow.
mistake
Do not make a mistake. This is not Seven Springs Mountain Resort. It is also not a country club. Course was in good shape except for horrible cart paths.
Nice course, not so friendly front desk
The course was nice, as was the day. we found the course to be very challenging. Our only problem was, we were made to wait at the 1st Tee for 35 minutes until our tee time, problem was NO ONE teed off or came to golf in that 35 minutes. Seemed silly to make us wait.
Good condition for the amount of rain
Greens were smooth but slow. Rained hard the night before. They were smooth and looked like on a dry day they would be nice.Course has too many side hill fairways and lies. Hit it in the middle and ends up in the rough, Overall not bad to play
great local course
the greens were in excellent condition. Some places in the rough were wet due to the heavy rain we just had
Good for the $$$$
Course was in good shape. Staff was friendly. Good value.
Nice course, nice people
I am fairly biased towards this course as probably played there 15-20 times per season when they had the Saturday deal for $23. after 3 on Saturdays; now its $27. Greens were always in excellent condition; cart paths are rough in spots. Good conditioned fairways, but if you are off line the rough can be tough. People are nice, do not expect a ranger, the speed of play is the speed of play mostly.
Very nice golf course
This is a very well maintained golf course and I will definitely be playing here again.
this course had no ranger to prohibit slow play
No ranger to prohibit slow play and foul language No dress code enforced
Good shape for this time of year
A little wet since we played in the rain but good shape over all
Just having fun.
Looking for a reasonable and decent course.
Found it at 7 Springs.
Base on the time of the year, weather and course. This course was in TOP shape. The leaves were not in the fairway(leaves ball). Under the trees where they suppose to be. Grass cut and the right height. Ant the greens were in good shape.
Nice place to play
Course was in great shape from tee to green. Will definitely play again.
Cart paths are in distress, as are bathrooms on course.
Greens were in very nice condition as were most of the fairways .However the cart paths and rest rooms on course were in very poor condition.
Our 4-some tee'd off on time, however an outing in front of our group made play very slow.
Thankfully we used golf now to get a great deal, otherwise paying a higher price would not have been enjoyable. This course gives new meaning to "Country Club"............
Nice Fast Greens
What I like about this course is its fast and true greens and the hole layouts. It's fairly short but challenging and fun. What I don't like about it is some areas need repair. There are some bare spots around greens or cart paths, and some other areas that need cleaned up. The cart paths are in need of repair, as they have a lot of potholes. But I had a great time playing it, and I really like the layout.
great fun....will go back!!
course well maintained for late summer...fairways double cut...greens very nice, moderately fast
