Bad shape
Course is in terrible shape. Fairways don’t exist, greens are rock hard and cracking on most holes, 10 has a burrowing hornets nest ON THE GREEN.
Not in great shape
Other than the course being in awful shape, it’s a fun and challenging course. A little attention and love would make it a really nice place to play.
Needs new owners
The design is admirable. But the upkeep is negligent. It's a shame. I like this design. Please sell it to someone that cares.
Just dont
Local to the area, and have played here three times this season. Unfortunately, I keep telling myself the course will get better next time... they will fix the issues for next time... Well, next time came and went, and this continues to be the worst tee boxes and greens in Central PA. And its not close. I would suggest cutting the rate in half until these issues are fixed. It completely ruins your round.
Thank God for the discount
If I had paid full price for this round I would have been upset. This course is in terrible condition. The fairways were not cut. Hard to tell where the fairway was. The greens were invaded by some insect that left the greens like sand traps. Honestly the worst condition on any course I have ever played.
Parline
The tee boxes were hard as rock. Very difficult to put a tee in the ground. The greens were in horrible condition. Sand patches on most of them. They have a sprinkler system around the greens but doesn’t seem like they have used it in awhile..
Course Needs A Lot of Love
Fairways are indistinguishable from the rough on most holes.
Greens have some sort of infection that affects putting significantly.
Cart paths are in general disrepair in parts. Bridges are missing railings.
No ball washing stations, trash cans are sporadic.
Most fairways and Tee boxes in good condition while several greens need major attention. One green couldn’t play due to large hole and bees. They are actively digging, repairing, treating and I hope they are successful
