Dauphin Highlands Golf Course

Pace of play is awful every single time. Just finished a round that was almost 6 hours! 3 groups on every hole. Tee time scheduling is the worst Ive ever seen. Do not play here unless your willing to wait 20 minutes before each hole.

Rain threatened the entire morning but never came so less folks out. Course is in very good shape and always a pleasure to play. Staff was attentive and friendly. Looking forward to next round!

Will miss this course sad to see it go always enjoy playing here one of the nicest well maintained public courses in our area

That's the high notes!

The bad, from the minute we got there, the starter had an attitude about where I put my bag. Our tee time was 20 minutes away so I opted for the last cart in the line vs the first one. Made sense to me. The starter basically scolded me for putting it on the rear cart. He then proceeded to ask our time and said, you're next up. I told my son to finish up putting and head up. Mind you we were still 15 minutes out. This man has the audacity to say, if you're not ready, I'll send the group behind you.

I advised him we were ready and to chill out. As we get to the tee, the group behind us shows up. Our time was 11:10, it was 11:08.

That part is the ONLY place where the staff focused on pace of play. No marshalls, waiting every shot for minutes at a time for all 18 holes.

DH is a nice course, not $80+ nice, but nice. The course is overpriced and over booked with terrible staff.

Just close it down and sell it already.

This course is wide open with a great view. Some challenging holes with hidden troubles.

Dauphin Highlands has always been in my Top Ten for a reasonably cost-effective round of golf. The course is regularly well-maintained, and the layout is interesting, and presents enjoyable challenges to most casual golfers. The staff are all pleasant and helpful.

Singularly, the only thing that is pushing me away from this course is their cart management system that requires that you drive only in specific area of the course. I do understand the need to protect the course from irresponsible operation of carts. However, on at least two of the holes, a senior golfer is required to walk a distance to and from the tee box. We actually changed our next week’s outing to another course to avoid this irritation. But, if the cart control system doesn’t bother you, this is a nice place to play.

A course known for 5 hour rounds when busy was a 6 hour round, stacking tee times every 8 min with no starter or rangers. Other than that the course was in absolutely beautiful shape.

Course was beautiful. Tee boxes in great shape, greens are fast and fun lay out. Fairway you could putt from. Didn't get to play but 9 holes because 7 people tee off at the same time but if we ever are up that way again we will be playing there again!

The pace of play here is not for people who care about that and the green conditions are tolerable at best. It’s a fun course, but I would not pay more than I paid for a 2:15 tee time. 5+ hour rounds on Saturday are not for me.
