Deer Valley Golf Course in Hummelstown boasts one of the most affordable rounds you'll find in the Hershey/Harrisburg area. Since opening in 2005, more than 850 trees have been added and it has matured into a course favored by both visitors and locals. The layout features large, elevated greens and massive multi-tiered tees. From the golf course's peaks, the views stretch all the way to Hershey and the Blue Mountains. The winding layout twists and turns, doglegging left and right. It's a challenging layout round despite the absence of sand bunkers. There is however, thick rough and a number of grass bunkers to watch out for. Water only makes a brief appearance. Deer Valley Golf Course isn't overly challenging but for a fun and fair test, it's an affordable option that also offers some beautiful scenery.

The course is really good shape especially with the lack of rain the staff super friendly
Could be my new favorite golf course
This is my 2nd experience at Deer Valley. For October and very dry conditions, the course was green and in great shape. The only issue is that it's an hour+ drive. BUT, I pass numerous other golf courses to get there because I am enjoying the place. On my 1st experience, I was joined by my nephew from SW Virginia. He's coming back this time bringing his 2 sons along. We're booked in 2 weeks...

Deer Valley could be my new favorite
Not sure why it's taken me so long to find this course but it could be my new favorite golf course. The condition was excellent. . Wide open fairway and attractive.

Interesting but challenging course
You may enjoy playing golf here. Some holes are easy whereas other holes are very challenging (but fun).

Beautiful course
Somewhat challenging course with a great view. It was well maintained, but need more trees for shades on hot days.
