Front vs back
Front 9 fairly open and long. Back nine challenging and tight.. course was very wet, greens were a little slow but it is early in the season.

Enjoy playing this course - good rates, friendly staff and challenging.
Cedar Ridge
The cooler weather is here but the course is in great shape. The grass is still mostly green and healthy both in the fairways and on the greens.
Nickel and Dime
This place really nickel and dimes people. Even during COVID, they want you to ride in a cart with strangers. They charge $7 extra on top of their advertised price if you want a solo cart. Also if you pay by credit cars they charge $2 extra. So your $35 tee time turns into $44 in a snap.
Course was decent, greens were solid, but I won’t patronize a place that tacks on endless added fees. That’s just bad business.
Ok course
course was ok, but value compared to other courses, you get what you pay for. The grounds were very hard all around, tee boxes and greens. Greens were a good cut and very fast on this day. A little disappointed the golf course is passing there credit card transaction cost on to the customer... $2 fee to charge a card. Take cash.
A slow day on the course
If you are looking for a course that is pretty much wide open and very forgiving for a wayward tee shot this is the course for you. On this day however, the pace was very slow (of course it was Labor Day weekend) and the fairways were in desperate need of mowing. We lost several balls that were right down the middle of the 'fairway: but on this day the fairway was more like the first cut of rough. The greens were in decent shape except for inconsiderate golfers not fixing their divot marks. The staff (we only saw one person when we paid) was kind of surly complaining he was running out of carts. On the completion of the round, it seemed like there were no carts available and no one seemed to be turning around carts for new customers. Overall, great weather, and at the end of the day on the course....is a good one.
You get what you pay for
My only big complaint is that course, tees and greens not mowed yet at noon on Saturday. Otherwise it was about what I expected for that price ($35) on a holiday weekend.
Greens were mostly okay looking, soft and ran slow.
A good course for a great value
This course is what you pay for. It's a value course with a great staff. The front 9 is fairly straightforward and wide open. The back 9 is in better condition and a bit more challenging. It's a good course for beginners and for just an easy outing with friends. Overall it is a descent little course for the price.
Do not recommend this course
The course was in very poor shape. The greens were inconsistent - very hard and fast in some places, burnt out in other places, and occasionally slow. The fairways were also poor. Pace of play was good because the course was not crowded on a Saturday afternoon.
Even though we had purchased hot deals on golfnow and paid for the round in advance, the pro shop made each person pay an extra $7 each to ride in carts by themselves during the pandemic,, even though everyone in the group was a single and did not know each other.
COVID-19
The staff charged an extra $7 to ride your OWN cart, even though you pay online for a round with a cart. The expectation from them was to ride the cart with your playing partner, even if you were randomly paired with them.....in the middle of a global pandemic
Course layout was cool but the conditions were awful. Tire marks on more than one green? Rough that hasn’t been cut, rocks in bunkers. Take some pride in your course....
Good value for course conditions
Felt the cost to play was a good value. Cart was included. The course itself could use some work. The Tees and Fairways were rough and sparse in areas, making choosing the correct club difficult at times. The Greens were soft in some areas and very hard in others, making it difficult to read. Some greens had just been mowed and grass clumps were all over them. Sand Traps were also in need of much work. They were more like dirt traps. Does not look like they have been touched for quite some time. Over all it was worth playing.
