Cedar Ridge
A nice challenging course for the average golfer, and somewhat easy for an above average golfer. A retired NBA player once had a 65 for 18 holes. There are water holes and long par 5 holes, a good number of nice par 4 holes and plenty of trees to catch your wayward tee shots and second shots. If you desire a moderate to challenging course, for a fair price Cedar Ridge is for you.
IT'S CHEAP
Booked this kinda last minute because it was a hot deal and very cheap. Well you get what you pay for. Fairways are mostly dirt. Half the greens are unplayable. Needs Work. It's seems they are trying in spots to make better but a long way to go
Great value!
Great value for beginning and intermediate golfers. Most fairways are wide and forgiving, but back nine has a few interesting challenges in store!
Flop
Played on a Friday, arrived early for my tee time. All I see is a bunch of carts and people waiting to tee off. Never seen anything like it, no organization whatsoever.
Played the back 9 twice since I couldn’t play the front due to whatever reasons. Terrible pace. They never offer to accommodate me to play the front 9. Hard grounds, ball rolls a thousand times, questionable greens. The holes i did play we’re fun but this place needs help. I see what they are trying to do but it will take more ingenuity and care. Will 10000% not go back. You get what you pay for.
Great Value
This course was in good shape and was a great value to play. Overall it was a good day and the pro shop personnel was great. I would definitely play it again for the value.
Go elsewhere!
We will start with how they only advertise walking rates here online, which are very enticing because it’s cheap. Once you get to the course you learn that you can use carts, but by that time you have already paid for your round online. You can still use the carts for only an extra $13 per person. When you add the extra money for the carts to your total you are still looking at maybe $25-$28. After three holes you will learn that you over paid for this course. On this course the “rough” plays better than the fairways. The fair ways are so choppy and your ball will surely end up in a little dirt spot right between two little patches of grass which leaves you with an atrocious lie. They clearly don’t maintain the course and are over charging for it. Take your business elsewhere where they aren’t so sleazy!
Nice course for the money
Good cource fun layout expecially on the back nine great value. Small fairways and greens nice water features
COVID-19
First time playing after 2 months. Enjoyed hitting the golf ball, while adhering to the COVID-19 rules on the courses. Overall experience was very good in spite of the new rules. Yes I would recommend playing Cedar Ridge. You get what you pay for, knowing that before hand. You will enjoy the experience.
Welcoming environment
Owner and staff were extremely accommodating! Great prices and a reasonably challenging layout for the price.
Great fun
After sitting a home for months it got nice, and lots of golfers were out. Course for winter conditions was above average. Staff was very friendly.
Nice Course
Nice course for the average golfer. The only real complaint is the crabgrass mid June til frost., and in the fall most other courses mow the fairways,. This one doesn't. What would it take for crabgrass pre emergence and the follow up mid summer when remaining comes out.
Green Condition
Considering the weather this past summer and early fall the course was in very good condition. The tees and fairways were a little rough, but the greens outside of one hole were in great shape. The putts rolled really true.
