Paupack Hills Golf & Country Club

The health of the course is in great conditions. This was even after a heavy rain where there was over an inch the previous night. Greens in tremendous shape.

It is a beautiful course that is well maintained. The course is very challenging but a lot of fun to play

Breath taking views, well designed and challenging. Good shots are rewarded while others will test your scrambling ability. Great pace of play and many holes felt like we had the course to ourselves.

Can’t say enough about this course. Challenging but fair. Extremely well maintained. Nice mix of elevation changes. 6th and 16th holes have memorable views. Course winds through a heavily wooded neighborhood with many interesting homes. Look forward to playing again soon.

I like this course a lot. In good condition nice greens. Unfortunately a fire took out a real nice clubhouse that overlooked 18. Plan is to rebuild it.

Unfortunately they had a fire which burned down restaurant and pro shop. Hope they rebuild!

Fairways and greens were in good condition. Bunkers needed raking. Sand was hard packed.

Lots of up hill and downhill lies which fits the mountain nature of the course. We started on the back 9 and the Pace was was good but when we made the turn it was very slow on the front 9. Nice mix of dog legs and straight away holes. Some very long par 5s but our favorite was the short par 3 that sits atop a hill and overlooks the lake . The green is at the bottom of a very steep incline. Ball launch’s in to the air and drops straight down to the green below.

Also, As many have noted the club house burned down so no amenities.

Some bunkers are in bad shape, the green are OK as well as fairways. It is a narrow golf course, needs precise tee shots. A couple of tee shots with a great view over the lake. Unfortunately the club house burned down in January 2022 which was a nice place to have a drink after the round, now there is no place to do it.

First time shooting this borderline luxury course nestled away in Wallenpaupack. Today the course was cart path only and the long and wide fairways made it a task just to approach strokes 2 and 3. The greens were in immaculate condition, plenty of bunkers to work into your game unfortunately some were swamped up from a recent rain storm but just the sheer size of some of them positioned at the front of the greens was intimidating. Bring a wedge. Some great views as we cycled through the round. Staff was accommodating and friendly including the groundsmen hard at work. Worth the price and will go back to redeem myself. We will be back. Great course for anyone with the tee choices. No really simple holes so you have to think a little but don’t stress it, I said a little. Really enjoyed the variety and course layout, glad a cart was included. Staff were great. Only average on off course amenities due to the main building being lost to fire but I hope they get it rebuilt soon. See you next time we visit Scranton.

Played here a few months back and the course was in rough shape, after a tough winter and a unfortunate fire in the clubhouse. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I can’t praise them enough for the great work they’ve done in getting this course in top shape. Especially the bunkers! Fun round….will make a point to come back soon.

Nice layout and in pretty good condition considering the lack of rain lately. Would play it more often if they lowered their rates. I miss their bar/restaurant which burned down in January.

Course was in pretty good condition. Good mix of holes. It is pretty spread out. No amenities at this time due to a fire in the restaurant/pro shop.
