Interesting Layout
I like that the course has three separate 9-hole layouts, and that we had some choice of which nines to play and in which order. Lots of terrain changes and enough water hazards to make shot placement and distance control important.
Good Times.
South Hills is a very nice 27 hole course. Old and new 9's are mixed well. Always a great value for the money.
Always fun.
S.H. Is always a good course for the money. Doesnt get boring. or repetitive. Played N.& S. West is still the best around.
Enjoyed
Very good course, need to go back and play it again!!
Great value
Little chilly the day we played, however very nice hitting the golf ball around the course. Had no problem with pace of play. Course was not to bad for this time of year. As usual the club house was very curtious and would go out of their way to help if needed. Overall very good experience.
This course is designed fine.
We met grounds crew working on the green before next noreaster later that night. It will green up nicely next month. It played good enough for winter expectations. Will go again.
Cold
Playing golf February 1st, Expected the weather to be cold. Considering the weather the course was in decent shape for this time of year. No complaints had fun. Would recommend this course any time of the year.
Cold day but still fun playing
Played TheSouth and North courses. Temps were low to mid 40s. Some greens and tee boxes were hard as rocks which this time of the year is expected. Overall played with friends and had a good time knocking the ball around.Definetly would recommend this course.
Very wet day
Played on a day where all the snow melted. Soggy everything. Still enjoyed hitting the golf ball. Looking forward to spring.
Goose droppings and leaves.
If your going to charge people to play, blow the leaves off the corse. Also you can not. Charge people and several of the greens are so littered with goose dropping you can't putt. It was not fresh but dry and a day or 2 old.
Overall I like to play here and have done so 20 times this year. But I was not happy Sunday. I don't complain I just do t come back.
Breezing & Beautiful
Cold breezy conditions but course was in very good condition and pace was excellent. Two of us played in 3 hrs. Greens undulated and challenging. Opted to play the West course (offers 27 holes) which is highlighted by an island green and more of a links course, so offers nice variety.
Good conditions, great pace, at a very good price
Course conditions were very good; the greens rolled well. Pace of play was excellent. Combine with a very reasonable price, and you have an excellent choice for a round of golf.
Confusing....North/South/West
When we booked, had no idea they had three 9 hole courses. We had no idea which 2 we wanted to play. We selected North and South. We loved it, course was in good shape, greens were fair. The only real complaint we have is the condition of the cart paths. They are awful.
