Nice course, well taken care of. Excellent staff very nice, friendly and professional!
The pace was bad- slow in front of us several groups behind waiting as well.
Our golf cart died on hole 5 and we had to get a replacement.
Overall very nice though!
Very Nice Course With a Couple of Negatives
Oakmont Green is one of my favorite courses. I like almost everything about it. The fairways and greens are usually in great shape, though they are starting to show the effects of our extended drought. The greens are improved over the past couple of years; the ball rolls more smoothly, not bouncy like it used to do on the pebbled surface of years past. My first minus for Oakmont is that it has at least two holes that are too long for golfers in their mid 70’s and women. Holes 3 and 9 are definitely too long, even from the forward (red) tees for those of us who now struggle to hit our drivers farther than 180 yards. It would be much appreciated if management created forward tee boxes to shorten those two holes for women and we older men. My second minus concerns the sand in the bunkers; there is a lot (truly a lot) of gravel and small stones mixed in throughout the sand. This should not be on a course as nice as Oakmont Green. Even considering those two negatives, I still enjoy playing this course, and consider it a good value.

The staff at the course was great.
An afternoon well spent
Signed up as a single and placed in a foursome with three incredibly nice people. The pace was good and the course is looking better than it has in a long time. I will play again soon.
