Top notch course
Course conditions were excellent and challenging for any player. The staff was pleasant and the facility is definitely a 5 star now.
Best course and amenities for your money, bar none.
Always enjoy our rounds here.
Nice clubhouse. Eh. Course
I’ll never understand a golf course that spends over a million on a new clubhouse yet still has dirt tee boxes and literal holes in the middle of some fairways. I’ve had shovels in the fairways before as well. The design of the course is good. Just not in great shape. Don’t pay more than $35 to play here.
Good for the money
For the price of this course you really can’t beat it. Obviously the course could use some work (mainly the tee boxes) but overall it looks like they’re putting the money back into with a new clubhouse being built. Like the option of playing 3 different 9s it makes it feel like a different course every time you play.
Decent course on a Sunday

Fun day of golf.
The place of play was great. 3 different "nines" to choose from. Very Friendly Staff and other golfers.
They are renovating so the off course amenities are not much to speak of. I look forward to seeing what the new clubhouse will be like.
Good day
Well worth the trip and the money. Will play again.
Nice Course
Enjoyed playing the course. The new club house looks like it will be very nice when finished.
Great day for golf
Today was sunny, not hot, beautiful day for golf. Not at all crowded today. People must be going back to work. This is good for retirees. Course was in decent condition, most of the greens decent. It was a good day of golf with friends.
Clubhouse Reconstruction
With all the work going on with the new clubhouse and areas around the golf course it’s hard to enjoy a round of golf here at this time. Clubhouse right now is a trailer which is really small with no place to get a sandwich or anything before or after a round also very hard to get to & from the different 9’s that are here with all the work going on, so they understand this is a problem & have reduced the price to play here but be prepared
Decent course
I enjoyed playing the course as I enjoy any chance to get out and play 18 holes. A couple of the tee boxes are lumpy making it hard to square off and sink in for a great tee shot. The fairways and some of the greens are a moderately damaged which comes down to poor etiquette from previous players and maybe a shortage in staff who are specialized in grounds keeping. Maybe equipping the carts with repair kits would make players more likely to fix their marks on the course, just a small suggestion. I played the North and West holes. I would definitely give this course another shot, there are good challenges for sure.
Solid but not earth shattering
The course was in ok shape. Bunkers werent raked and edged around. Some greens had dirt patches. It was priced accordingly at $38/weekend. Not sure I’d pay anymore than that.
Groundskeeper.
The greens a South Hills are rough and not in good shape. I would’ve been OK with that but why I gave this course a one star is because of the groundskeeper! We were going to tee off on number 10 and they had the sprinklers on watering everything around the Teebox. The groundskeeper proceeded to curse at us and call us P..E.B. because he had to come and turn them off so people could tee off. The other employees heard him do this and shook their head and said we’re sorry he must be having a bad day. He needs to remember the money that I pay to play pays his salary and if I had my way I would fired him on the spot! If I could’ve found the owner or whoever was in charge he would’ve been having a really bad day. I don’t pay good money to play golf to get cussed out by some groundskeeper!!!! And I hope the owners of South Hills read these comments and deal with that.
Nice course
Very nice course. The weather was perfect. A little confusing with all the construction and for the first time being there. I will definitely go back again.
