Not in the best condition I’ve seen it in.
The greens were good and the fairways were decent. The rough was all crab grass and the tee boxes were absolutely terrible. They have improved the bunkers on the course and they drain and play well. Fringes and encroaching on to the greens as well. This course is undergoing a look of much needed repairs. Great layout fun to play next spring should look better.
Very average
Use coupon only type of course. Played North track. From the 1st T you knew this was going to be a mess. The greens & green side bunkers we’re fine. Like a lot of courses this place needs a cash infusion. Probably was really nice at onetime.
My God, would you Please give your maintenance crew a larger budget? The course was just in an awful condition, all around.
This course has poor features
The superintendent and the his crew are not able to take care of this golf course the way they know how it can be taken care of.
Because it is well known that the owner or owners are to cheap give the superintendent the budget he needs to make this golf course one of the best in this area. Take your money and go to another golf course.
Spring golf
Overall was a good fun experience. Played West and north course. Greens were aireated on the west course.
Fun time
Was in a 3 some.. Played South/North course. The green and fairway for this time of year was in good shape. Like me the club house and staff was very helpful. Had lots of fun playing at South Hills and would recommend playing at South Hills anytime.
Great round
Was able to use GolfNow Bonus. this course is a really fun course, especially the West Course 9. Staff very friendly and weather perfect. Was surprised how few on course today.
No March madness
A pleasant Sunday afternoon on the golf course. Played in a foursome. Space between groups of players were very good. No rush and no slow play. The course was in good shape for this time of year. The greens not to bad. Overall a enjoyable round. Would recommend this course to anyone. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nice Course
The course has 27 holes. The best 9 hole section is the West Course, has 1.5 Island greens. Great layout. Water comes into play on 4 or 5 holes. The course doesn't drain that great. A lot of areas are muddy even though it hasn't rained for 5 or six days. We played the South Course and the West. If I go back there, I would play the West twice. The greens on the West course have 2 holes & flags each.
Cold in December
Considering the weather conditions,It was invigorating hitting the golf ball. Played the south and west courses. The fairway on both courses were still green from all the rain and the greens were agreeable. Would recommend playing at south hills. It was a enjoyable experience.
West to South
South Hills is a good course and an excellent value.
Interesting Layout
I like that the course has three separate 9-hole layouts, and that we had some choice of which nines to play and in which order. Lots of terrain changes and enough water hazards to make shot placement and distance control important.
Good Times.
South Hills is a very nice 27 hole course. Old and new 9's are mixed well. Always a great value for the money.
Always fun.
S.H. Is always a good course for the money. Doesnt get boring. or repetitive. Played N.& S. West is still the best around.
