North/South at South Hills Golf Club

Daughter and boyfriend took me out for a round on Father’s Day. Course was in excellent shape. While it’s nice they have a grass range there is a large trench like dip that runs through the hitting area. ProShop and Bartender seemed they could care less that we were. Outside staff was fantastic.

The west course needs some work on greens and tee boxes needed to be cut.

The south was in much better shape, still needed tees boxes to be cut.

Overall nice to golf and the day went well.

Played to 3.5 hrs.

Ive played this course numerous times over the years, however, the conditions have deteriorated. The clubhouse and restaurant is very nice. It appears more money was invested there than the course. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back

What could be better than a round of golf on a beautiful spring day when the cherry and redbuds are competing for your attention? The weather was perfect and the course very quiet, even for a Monday afternoon. About the only issues we're that the recent rains meant that they were days behind on the mowing and the greens were a bit bumpy having been recently aerated. Were it not for those forgivable issues they would have earned 4.5 stars across the board. The Island green on the West course is always a thrill to play!
