grounds keepers are doing a excellent job going course back in good shape

The staff is great, bar area nice, drink prices more than fair. Carts are good - GPS and Bluetooth.

Got a good price for a Saturday afternoon, but the course is what it is. It’s the perfect place to teach someone golf or have a bachelor party.

The greens are basically not scoring quality. It’s golf, you can still have fun and teach someone the game. But unless you get the good rate, I wouldn’t pay full price or make it a destination trip with a group.

I played there over the years and gradually the course went to pot. Pleasant surprise when I played last week. Excellent improvements, tee to green. I am looking for more opportunities to play there soon!

Course conditions improving since early spring. Looks like they have staff and equipment to keep course maintained, finally! Bunkers need groomed,greens are slow.

We'll see if they hand water greens in afternoon so they dont burn out like they have the last two years. Greens still marginal from last years damage.

Worst maintained course I have ever played. The fairways were overgrown, full of weed and goose droppings. Greens were unmovwd, full of crabgrass, and unrolled. The traps were empty of sand , hard packed and full of weeds. Tee boxes overgrown, even on a tee you were barely above the weeds/grass. This was an unbelievably bad experience, quit after 9 holes, paid for 18, kept hoping it would improve! Do not come here, this is not golf. I am going to try and get a refund from Golfnow

I’ve played this course a few times over the past 15-20 years. This was my first time playing since it was bought and converted to Sunset. It has definitely seen better days (in all fairness it was like this when the new owners purchased it). The greens and fairways consist of varying mixtures of grass, dirt, crabgrass, etc.

I’m pulling for them to turn things around and get the course into the shape it was many years ago. I’m not a course owner, but I think they didn’t take the right approach. The bar, restaurant, and pro shop look great. The carts are new and have GPS for yardages. However, I’m not sure why that investment wouldn’t have been more beneficial to the course? Better watering, less crab grass, maybe some fringes around the greens.

Hopefully these hard times will change and the course will improve.

The new owner & staff were absolutely wonderful! Seems like there’s a lot going on to upgrade the course. Course is still rough, but for the money…thanks for a great time & love the new Club House & bar!

The greens we’re burnt huge bare spots on them and the sand was hard as a rock me being 300 pounds I didn’t even make and foot prints but we are ok golfers and it was $15

Very nice course but needs greens and fairways addressed. Very disappointed with the condition of the fairways. Grass was high. Greens were half dead grass and very bumpy. Beautiful location and awesome staff.

No fairways. Tee boxes were in terrible shape. Unplayable greens. Overpriced
